Wasn’t broken, but they fixed it anyway
Newest version crashes on MacBook pro to the point of having to uninstall all versions on the device and reinstall the newest version, which also crashes, and when open, now blocks access to adult themed rooms. As a paying subscriber, this is a bridge too far.

Missing icon of user
Paltalk is old platform and lack of modern technical control. Problem happen very often, it’s alway freezing. And I am unable to see many user in the chat room because the icon of user at upper right corner has been removed. My room subscription is $500+ for 3 Mics, and we setup Auto Reddot, but now I can’t even unreddotted myself in the room even though I am an admin of the room.
I contact tech support in JIRA but no response. Sliding to the left of the screen doesn’t work. Please fix. Thanks

Good product for all to have
Mostly fun but a few annoying things…
The app is similar to CamFrog some of the same features but a lot of differences — on CamFrog I like that you can see who’s viewing you on a regular account on PalTalk you have to pay for the extreme membership and it’s not cheap! I guess for someone who uses it all the time that’s fine but I’m more of a casual user but seeing “someone else is viewing you” is kinda lame.. it should be a lil cheaper for the options to see who’s viewing you for the ability to view more than one cam & no adds, I could see paying around $8 a month would be worth it but not 11.99! That’s more than I pay for Apple Music & I use that app everyday! Also when I’m watching someone on the featured screen when I go to tap on their username to pull up the options like view profile stop viewing etc. 95% of the time it’ll immediately switch to another cam when I tap the screen that really needs to be fixed & when you try to tap the tiny x in the little viewing box to close that cam a lot of the time it’ll move that person to the featured spot instead of closing it that needs some work too and finally the “view cams” menu, when you try to scroll through it it constantly changes everyone’s spot on the list it’s really annoying and lastly I feel an option to move your cam into the featured spot would be great using an iPhone the screen is small it’s nice to be able to see yourself in a larger spot to adjust & stuff :)

Paltalk is a Cesspool for Hackers
Most recently, Paltalk has become very unsafe, as it exploits and manipulates the vulnerable (i.e. mentally ill individuals) and, it rewards room owners that maintain high room numbers, by any corrupt means. Most worrisome, Paltalk has become a cesspool for hackers: and, it permits unwanted attacks on smart devices. And, Paltalk permits extreme racial hate against minorities (i.e. African-Americans and African descendants) Recently, Paltalk has engaged in an adverse action, in retaliation, as my sound has now been censored in all rooms.

Fix the room to stop profiles jumping around so when scrolling
Why can you not stop members in room from bouncing around while searching members? It gives me a headache. You cannot be fast enough to click on a profile. One second they are there and then the profile moves to another position on the mobile App!!

This app randomly charged me $10.77 although I signed up for nothing. They are a scam I’m warning you before you proceed
Poorly Managed
Far & away the most poorly managed app I've ever used. There's always something messing up or poorly thought out ( like the Jump To Present button you have to push to see text comments). The Select Video Layout Button doesn't work, constantly opens cameras and constantly changes the layout after you've picked a format. The mic up button don't work either, and freezes the app when you tru to use it. The Send A Gift and Share This Room popups are equally obnoxious. You still get obnoxious popup advertisements for sticker packs and surveys when you have an upgraded green nic too, so it's best not to buy one on this clown show chat app.
