Webtoon is buggy
Webtoon force rendering in the dynamic island area, which leaves an ugly black hole on my comics.
Need to block the ugly dynamic island area in webtoon continuous mode.
Or at least fix the paginated logic, when I scroll up to previous page, take me to the end of the previous page, not the beginning of it.
IT IS THE END OF THE PREVIOUS PAGE THAT CONNECTS TO THE BEGINNING OF THE NEXT PAGE. This is comic common sense!!!

A new comic reader hero?
I’m late to this party as I’ve been using Chunky for the last few years. However with no updates for years and waning functionality, I decided to try other comic readers. This one feels right and my comics look top notch. Since I know I’ll be using this for the next few years I have bought a copy outright knowing that I can use it on all my current and future (iPhone Fold?) devices.
It syncs across all devices and I can store my comics on device or in the cloud, so great functionality. The only thing I would add is better automatic folder creation for comics with the same title.

PanelsView
Simple and clean. The only thing I’d love to see is PanelsView being better. I know it’s low priority but the marvel unlimited app really kills it with Smart Panels. Very cinematic while capturing the entire panel 98% of the time, and the full page before or after is amazing. Would really love to see this feature + more in the Panels app. Loving it so far though, thank you.

Reinstalled after a while…wtf happened
Leave for a year. Come back and it’s like a completely different app. A store?!! My old server no longer connected. Yay.
Fantastic for comics and manga
Using ODPS I can stream comics from my server easy, only change I would request is the ability to go to the next comic in the folder structure, like a next or back button. Thank you devs ❤️💕!

Sorry for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, we had some issues on our servers that prevented the synchronization to work correctly, but it was fixed in less than a few hours. It should be working fine now. If it does not work for you, please reach is at support@panels.app and we’ll investigate.

This worked for a while and then suddenly the Downloads section just broke. It won’t load anymore. I have 75GB of content downloaded. Now my options are to not have access to them or try to delete the app and redownload all of it. Spectacular. I have comic apps that haven’t been update in over 5 years that don’t screw up this bad. If you read locally avoid this app.
Update: I ended up clearing the cache, rebooting multiple times, offloading snd reinstalling the app, and I even let it sit and load for an hour. It eventually loaded 4 comics and then when I clicked expand it went back to infinite loading. I decided to just delete it and start over. Surprise the OPDS connection doesn’t work anymore either. It’s stuck “Loading”. But don’t worry the truly important part of this local comic book reader app works…THE DIGITAL STORE! Can’t believe I got scammed out of $20 so these guys could bait and switch priorities. I’ll be moving back to Chunky as it still works despite being abandoned.

Make sure to reduce the amount of concurrent tasks so it doesn’t overload the processor and becomes laggy

Honestly the best app around for reading comics! Easy to use and brilliant at handling extensive libraries.
Amazing for reading
I love to get books off of Anna’s archive but files on there always seemed to be different, I finally got this app and sent files to panels and instantly got tons of books!

Left-hand panel bug.
The panel on the left side keeps re-adjusting itself when opening the app again. It’s very annoying unfortunately. I want it to be minimized as small as possible. Or can we completely hide it in a toggle menu completely?
