4 stars instead of 5
The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I’ve played/had this game for a few years but I have NEVER seen the letter S. There’s been Qs, Xs, Zs, Ys, Vs, and Ws. But not a single S? I’m a bit baffled. All that being said, I play the game multiple times a week and enjoy it very much.

Owner manipulates game
Fun game, but…the owner manipulates the scores in real time as he makes up scores to beat you as you’re playing and you won’t win ever even if you come up with more words than anyone as you can see the owner fudge the scores as you’re playing if you’re clearly beating him and it stinks and is sad that the scores aren’t honest and he won’t let people play honestly and manipulates the scores prior to the games and in real time which is sad that he can’t handle people who best him which I do each time and it’s so embarrassing to watch him fudge the scores, but the game itself is fun. I just don’t understand why the owner’s ego won’t let you win fair and square. I’m an old woman who bests him every time and I can see him changing the scores as I’m playing and I don’t understand why I’m paying him money and if I deserve to win he won’t accept it and let people play fair and square. Sad. I hope someone else makes a similar version that will let you win if you actually do.

Don’t bother
This app is horrendously made. I suspect it’s been vibe coded. The UI is awful and has so many bugs. You are only allowed one pangram each day. The social features are strangely implemented and ham fisted. I would not recommend this.
Great Game
I love this game! It gives wide berth to word possibilities and you can play as many games as you want, to as many levels as you like. One of the good ones!

I’ve played this game for years!
This is the perfect game to have on my phone. I paid a very reasonable amount for the paid version a long time ago and have never had to pay again. It’s really refreshing when every other phone game has a ton of ads and recurring costs for paid versions. There’s an option to donate, which I’ve done at one point, but it’s not required. The creator of this app seems like a really genuine person who does his best to keep the app up to date. I had some tech issue a while back and he answered my email promptly and kindly.

Entertaining
Fun game but full of pretend words, too many nouns made into verbs, arbitrary use of proper names (Telford, a town in England, but not London, for example), many inexplicable spellings of real words. Not a recommended way to learn English. Still it presents its own challenges to solve.
Great idea, some frustrating issues
I love a game like this and this setup has a lot of potential. Don’t get me wrong, I play it a lot. HOWEVER. Be prepared for real words in the dictionary to NOT be accepted as answers. I don’t know what the glitch is but it happens a ton. Including obscure words. And very common words. (Most recently had “ripping” be denied as a word). Since there doesn’t seem to be a real rhyme or reason to why, it’s my biggest issue with the game.

Free play is good for one day only. No ad supported version. I’ll stick with the NYT game of Spelling Bee.

Dictionary’s are not real
Seems like half the words they use are from an obscure medical dictionary from 1890.
Always perfect
Have ten seconds? Make a word. Have more time? Make more words. Incredibly easy to pick up but “just right” in terms of difficulty since you choose the parameters for each game.

Great game
This is a challenging and fun word game. I play it so much that I need more options for board placement on my iPad to avoid wearing out spots.
Lots of rare words
I enjoy the challenge of rare or unique words, but this game has a whole lot of extremely rare words. In some of the games they completely dominate the word list. Other than that it’s a very well designed game that is great fun to play and most games have enough less-than-rare words that it doesn’t affect the game unduly

Great game but i’m having an issue
I’m a paid subscriber, and I’m running the latest version of ios on my phone
I have deleted app and redownloaded it, but still i can’t create games with custom letters. The curser is active and blinking in the box the ios keyboard pops up, but when i hit a letter nothing shows up. I’ve even tried pasting it in and still nothing … is there a setting or trick to it? thanks for any help with this.
