3D MOLECULE VIEWER — EXPANDED 94 more substances now render in 3D. Ions, solvents, indicators, and protecting groups that have no CAS number — and so previously had no model — now display full interactive structures. Over 1,000 substances now have 3D models. 3D structures now appear on chemistry reference entries, not just compounds. Solvents, buffers, catalysts, and indicators in the lab reference sections now carry their own interactive models. Multiple forms per structure. Where a substance exists in more than one meaningful conformation or crystal form, you can switch between them, each with a caption explaining what you're looking at. Conformer ensembles for 15 flexible molecules. Butane through octane, ethylene glycol, glycerol, the short-chain alcohols, glycine, alanine, the diacids, and diethyl ether now carry multiple low-energy conformations with their Boltzmann populations — so you see how the molecule actually moves rather than a single frozen pose.
