What's New in Pantré Family Recipes
1.0.6
June 1, 2026
This is a big update. The app is now Pantré Family Recipes — reimagined around the idea that the meals we cook aren't just food, they're family history. Every recipe you save can now carry the name, face, and story of the person it came from. We've introduced a new Family tab where you can add the people who shaped your kitchen — grandparents, parents, friends, mentors — alongside their photo, hometown, and relationship to you. Each recipe in your cookbook can be attributed to them, so when you cook your grandmother's enchiladas, her name and her photo travel with the dish. Every recipe page now ends with a quiet "Recipe by" card that honors who it came from. Cuisine is now Heritage throughout the app. Italian, Mexican, Japanese — these aren't just styles of cooking, they're inherited. The entire interface has shifted to a refined dark mode by default — calmer in low light, more cinematic for your food photos, and easier on the eyes during late-night meal planning. We've also redesigned the app icon to reflect this new chapter: a softer, more crafted jar-and-sprig illustration that feels like something handed down. Behind the scenes we've polished a lot: serving-size sliders no longer drift, dietary tags and allergens now display in proper human language, recipe times and serving counts now sit prominently at the top of every recipe, and the weekly meal planner reliably collects every ingredient into your grocery list (we fixed a bug that could leave it empty even when meals were planned). Thank you for cooking with us. We can't wait to see whose recipes you save first.
