It does its job but is a little chaotic to navigate
I’m a new user so I’m still developing my opinion but so far it’s really easy to add stuff, adjust quantity, or remove things. My biggest gripe… and it might actually be a deal breaker if I don’t get used to it, is there are wayyy to many categories and it makes it visually difficult to digest. Rather than a ton of very specific categories, a small handful of vague categories would be better.. or better yet, let us create and use or not use our own categories so each user can be as specific or vague as they want with their inventory.

Could be even better
Love the app - but they really need to add the option to manually type in a UPC code. Sometimes the camera isn’t the best option. Sometimes I want to use my physical scanner. Sometimes the barcode is damaged and I want to just type the numbers instead of entering the item in as a new product. I would even accept batch uploading a collection of UPCs but the app doesn’t allow that either.

I’ve installed - and dumped - literally every other food tracker.
This one is by FAR the best. I got so sick of wasting food, and this one has really helped. Great design. Only thing that does irritate me a bit is that it sends notifications for everything daily, including stuff expiring in months. Not particularly helpful when the notifications all stack and the stuff expiring in 2 days is right at the bottom hidden under the stuff I really don’t care about right now.

You will not be sorry with this application it’s the best of the best. Now if they could tie “InstaCart” with this program we would have the ultimate grocery and shopping and inventory list application. Keep up the great work Guys.

Edit: I have downgraded my rating as I got logged out and cannot get back in for an app that I paid for. I keep trying to reset my password and the reset email never arrives. Been checking for over half an hour. Of course without being logged in there seems to be no way to contact any customer service either!!!! They are thieves since I have paid for a service that they are not providing me a way to access.
I have been using this app for a short amount of time. There is at least one feature that I believe most everyone would find helpful to have added…the ability to indicate items (or a portion of the item) that are already going to be used in planned meals. I do my meal planning on Wednesday, put together my grocery order for pickup on Saturdays (if not done early I don’t get the time slot needed based upon my work schedule). I found myself having to review what my meal plans are to make sure that items in my freezer or pantry are not needed for a recipe. The other feature which I know would benefit me and perhaps a few others is if it would integrate with eMeals and my WalMart grocery app (don’t expect this as it would require a lot of coordination between many different companies as you couldn’t just go with one grocery order app or meal planning app).

Best Pantry APP
This app has made our life so much easier in taking control of our inventory management for our home and bed and breakfast.
Amazing Fantastic App
This app is wonderful. It is clean and well designed and makes tracking pantry inventory a breeze. I use this regularly as I decant my items into glass for ease and organization, and it’s helpful to keep on hand the brands, instructions and expiry dates. As well as knowledge of any recalls you have all the info! A must have for anyone who buys packaged food!

My dad and I love this app! It has been so so helpful in keeping track of what we have. Our only feedback would be that we’d love the ability to add our own categories, or for there to be more categories added as my dad scans everything that has a barcode!

I never knew what was behind in the back of the refrigerator or inside the pantry. Now at a glance, I can see what I have and can plan meals accordingly. Also will avoid buying doubles.
If it only worked as advertised
I spent days putting my entire food inventory in and now some of it is missing. What’s going on? I can find the food in my timeline but it doesn’t show up in my inventory. What a waste of time. I would have sent a private note but this is the only way I can see to communicate
good simple pantry app
it’s a really good app and really useful when I’m out and can’t remember if I have something or not in the fridge or pantry. The one thing I really don’t like is that everytime the app refreshes on a new day or a new release happens all the ingredients are marked as a blue dot which usually means you added something new, even though it’s been there already.

This works pretty well. It’s great that I can share it with my spouse and we can keep track of what’s in our pantry. The one thing that would make it easier to use if it was really quick to get to the barcode scanner. They could do that by adding actions if you press and hold on the icon on the Home Screen of your iPhone.
But the best way of all would be to have a custom URL protocol or a Shortcuts action. If they did that somebody could put an NFC tag on their pantry door, tapping it with their phone would launch them right to the barcode scanner. You could even have two tags: one for looking something up and a second for adding items.
This is an iPhone app: it would be great if it took advantage of useful features of iOS to make it less of a hassle to use.

Perfectly functional
This pantry inventory app that allows you to scan barcodes and add expiration dates two items works amazingly well. Scanning the barcode pulls back pictures of the exact item. It is very quick and very easy to use. It even makes a satisfying 'boop' sound when the item is scanned. I'll be subbing when I hit the limit.

Very helpful so far! Easy to use and love the expiration tracking.
I wish it had a ‘desired stock qty’ per item that would make creating a generated shopping list more accurate, but either way, this app is ABSOLUTELY worth using.

simply brilliant
I have been looking for a simple pantry app that is not overly americanised or tied to services i don’t need. In fact it’s the first app i considered spending money on! Only change would be the ability to store multiple types of food in different storage location. So tinned fruit for example in pantry and baking cupboard.

Almost perfect
I have been using the app for a few months and it really good. Scans fast and easy to add unidentified items and move products around. My only struggle is that I REALLY want to set my own categories and be able to organize the categories manually. I waste too much time finding and organizing based on automatic categories.

Great App
It’s so easy to keep up with what’s in my pantry now. It prevents me from purchasing duplicates and tells me when products are about to expire. I highly recommend it.

For more than a decade, I’ve been relying on this app for my inventory and grocery shopping. It enables me to have separate shopping lists for each of the stores at which I shop. Love it!
Really handy, but gross that you charge money to add any more than 200 items…
Please don’t mess with a good thing lol, it works amazing as it is, update it if you need to but the way you can scan everything in and it usually knows exactly what it is is so cool, and in the event it doesn’t, I like that I can contribute a picture and some info, and then it WILL be recognized by someone else’s app, keep this the way it is more or less and I’ll keep using it
