Asked for WiFi password

Searching for a new home food inventory app. I stopped with this one when it required my WiFi info as a part of the set up process. Never seen that before and no reason it should need that info.

Hi Daisymay, there is NO NEED to enter your WiFi information in order to use PantryOn app as a grocery app only. WiFi information WILL be needed in order to setup your new PantryOn appliance if you choose to get one. PantryOn appliances will be launched in 2021. More on PntryOn IoT rodicts is found on Pantryon.com We also have many videos on YouTube about the app and the appliance.
