About
Paper Cam turns what you see into a crayon drawing on paper.
You don't get a viewfinder rectangle on a black screen. You get a camera drawn by hand, with a hole cut out of it, and you look through that hole at the world. Press the shutter and your shot comes back as a child's crayon sketch — wobbly outlines, colour scribbled outside the lines, no shading.
EVERY LETTER IS DRAWN BY HAND
There is no system font anywhere in this app. Every letter and number you see — the film counter, the menu, the date on each photo — is a hand-drawn glyph image. Each letter has five different versions, so the same letter is never drawn quite the same way twice.
TURN THE CAMERA
Press the rotate button and the whole camera turns in your hands, the way a real one does. Buttons, counter, screen and all. Shoot upright or turned — the photo comes back the way you framed it.
A SKETCHBOOK, NOT A GRID
Your shots live in a paper album where each print is cut out with scissors, taped down at a slight angle, and dated in handwriting. Every card is shaped a little differently, and it stays that way every time you open it.
THREE PAPER BODIES
Switch between three hand-drawn camera bodies with the d-pad. Each one has its own viewfinder shape, so each one frames differently.
FILM
Each shot uses one frame of film, because each one is redrawn by an image model. You get 3 free frames to try it. If you like it, film packs are available in the app — and your film stays with you even if you delete and reinstall.

What's New in Paper Cam
1.1.0
August 4, 2026
Every shot is now a little film. • Story video — the seconds before you press the shutter, the flash, and the drawing landing inside the viewfinder, all in one clip you can share. • Photos and their story videos now sit side by side in the album. • Turn your phone and the finished drawing turns with it. • Shoot sideways and the story video comes out in landscape.
