Pretty good

Game is great. Took me a while to actually beat it due to the rng of cards. Definitely worth playing. Should definitely add in more chapters and possibly skill points per completion to make it more interesting.

I like it but…

Took me a couple dozen tries but finally got past level 1, only to find there is only one level.

Update broke game

After update, I can’t start a new game and when I enter the one I was in the middle of there’s no enemy and nothing works. It’s just broken.

Casual Strategy

Very casual but entertaining game. It keeps you busy and there is a bit of thinking but not enough to overthink. Alright art style and music is okay but both can be better. It’s a free game and it honestly was enjoyable for a good hour or so. I do recommend it if you’re looking for a time killer.

One of my favorite games on the market

No ads, no pop up buys, no loading screens. Just a simple time burning game. It’s refreshing not to have predatory developers. Excited to see what else they add into it like weapons and enemies.

Great potential

Love to see that it’s changed and is actively being worked on. I just wish I could mute the game. I like watching things while I play so it’s hard to stay engaged. Good stuff tho

idk why that guy lie he passed chapter 1

This game honestly isn’t that good, but it really triggered my competitive side.

I’ve seen someone (clearly a liar) claim that they cleared Chapter 1 on the first day. I’ve also seen people say that Chapter 2 doesn’t even exist. After actually playing the game seriously, I can confidently say that the person who said they cleared Chapter 1 on day one is lying.

Here’s why:
• Permanent stats only start saving after you pass level 100.
• Each run to 100 takes at least 15 minutes, even if everything goes smoothly and lucky to die at 100.
• To survive the boss (which can two-shot kill you), you must rely on critical hits.
• To clear Chapter 1, you need:
• At least 30–40 permanent critical points.
• Max 10 attack speed
• Even with extremely good luck, this means you need more than 50 runs past level 100. Or even 80 runs.

Now do the math:
50 runs × 15 minutes = 12.5 hours minimum, and that’s assuming perfect luck.

So no, there’s no realistic way someone cleared Chapter 1 on the first day.

And here’s the bigger issue: Chapter 1 is actually impossible to clear.

After several days of grinding, I finally stacked enough stats and reached level 364. At that point, the “Next” button is completely unclickable. Restarting the game doesn’t help — it still stays stuck there.

So there is no “clearing Chapter 1.”
There is no Chapter 2.

The person who claimed otherwise was simply making things up.

I honestly don’t understand what people gain from lying online, but facts are facts. As far as I know, I’m the only one who has reached level 364, and the game is clearly hard-locked there.

New update issues

This newest update seems to have the opening screen frozen on the book and candles. Hope it gets fixed, this is a fun game to play!

Was a good game

It started out a good game, but now it won’t even finish loading. I deleted it.

Simple and straightforward in concept, but difficulty spikes too much.

The concept is good with lots of room for expansion. I have made about a dozen run attempts so far, with varying strategies, but am constantly getting stonewalled at day360. The difficulty spike is off the chart, to the point I’m getting 2-shot before any of my cards proc. It doesn’t seem to matter if I focus on defense and tankiness, or work on max atkspd and crit, it’s not nearly enough to stay alive in hopes that my Ice Blast or Dodge card kick in. Am I just supposed to grind and increase my stats (prob HP) up one point at a time?

Also, as others have mentioned, Fortune is just bad. I have yet to get the extra card slot, and have instantly lost runs to losing a key item or card.

Lastly, adding a bit more flavor to the run, or “ bosses” that dictate which bad guys you see would help the grind. I do like that I can shut the app and then reopen and not lose my progress.

Ehhh

The game was challenging. Simple premise, hard to beat. The fortune thing is stupid. Every so often you get a new card slot. Otherwise you lose half your gold, equipment, or equipped cards. No chapter 2 to play. Not enough creatures.

Simply Fun

This game seems to be a new release. It is simple to play and quite enjoyable (but not without its setbacks). The biggest complaint seems to be how uneven the fortune encounter is (I generally use it until I unlock the extra spell slots and then I stop clicking it). Similarly the shop becomes useless after your gear is maxed out. I’d like to be able to use my gold to reroll spells, or increase my hand size. Alas I have beaten chapter 1, and there seems to be nothing to do, and no way to replay the game for now.

New and exciting

I read the reviews and get some of their points. Overall this is a strategy game and it is to me a good game. The music is of a fantasy vibe (simple repetitive) but enjoyable and goes along with the game. A few ideas would be fix the fortune character add more monster types add more card types and add more gear and weapons. There is a lot you could do with this game in updates to make it better and better. I hope there will be more content in the near future. I respect and appreciate the developers for this simple yet tough rpg strategy Fantasy type of game. I say thank you.

Game is fun but…

The game is fun but ridiculous to have a thing called fortune… and it’s 90% bad. Lose half your gold, lose gear, lose card… fortune should be equally good and bad… I’ve never had a fortune come up where I thought oh this is just the thing I need. Could use new bad guys, generally enjoyable but I don’t think it has high replayability (not a word but you get it).

Tell me u are not serious

There’s no way to play to chapter 2, late mobs attack faster than any spells, I don’t get dev’s point for this game, he’s not trying to make money and not trying to let us play, weird

Response from developer

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and I’m sorry that end of Chapter 1 felt unfair. That’s definitely not the experience we want players to have. Some late-chapter enemies are currently overtuned in speed, and we’re reviewing their balance so spells and player actions have a fair impact. Difficulty should feel challenging, not impossible, and your comment helps us pinpoint where things need adjustment. Just to clarify: we absolutely want players to progress and enjoy the game, and we’re actively improving it based on feedback like yours. A tuning update is already planned to make late-chapter 1 much smoother and more balanced. Thanks for giving the game a try. We appreciate the feedback and hope the next update improves your experience.

It only took me one day to finish it

It’s a great game, but the fortune guy only gave bad stuff and and there’s only one chapter
