Love the flip through feature, but the fact you have to pay to even add a second photo on a page is ridiculous.

I love this app I used it every day and then the free trial ended and I was going to ask my mom if I could get the subscription but I saw how much it was and knew she was going to say no.

Problems login each time
I already paid for this app, but recently, every time I open it, it says I haven’t paid. It also lost all of my previous artwork. Because of these issues, I haven’t used the app much since then.
Yet another subscription
I used to think the app was awesome and unique, but now I have to have a subscription to use it? No thanks. I’m tired of everything being a subscription.
Not that great in my opinion
I hate how you need to pay the subscription JUST to add custom colors for the color wheel. I just wanna make my notes pastel, cute, and fit my aesthetic but because of the subscription block it just won’t let me. I wanna take notes but I can’t make them cute like at all. All I can use is black which can make it harder if I wanna color code. Can I just make custom colors without the subscription?? I swear it will make more people give better reviews. I HATE

I used to love this app and decided to try it again
Originally in 2021 it was 11ish for a whole year of pro, which was reasonable bc most people will buy physical journals of the same price yearly. I was so disappointed to find out that the app is now 100 for the year. I don’t have that kind of money it’s honestly such a slap to the face as a consumer

Amazing but unaffordable
This is by far my favourite app of its kind. I found that apps like procreate give me too much control and I end up obsessing over things that don’t matter. With this one you have a few great tools and that simplicity has been an absolute game changer for me. I’ve done some of my best work thanks to them. I would love to upgrade to premium but it’s ridiculously expensive. £10 a week?? Are the devs insane?? I can’t even consider it for that price. Such a shame because I really enjoyed my free trial and would love to support the team.

Saved me.
Always was scared to write in a journal cuz I knew it was not gonna stay secret. But now I can have my own journal on my tablet!! It’s amazing! It’s multitask and I promise you guys when you create your books of your own with your own story, you feel amazing. ;)
Good but could be better
The app overall is good, but my only thing is that most of the tools require pro or a subscription to certain parts. Most things I can’t use, like adding multiple photos to each page, using art tools, etc. Would be so much better if it didn’t all require pro.

paid for paper pro (one time purchase) in 2024, no longer active
very very disappointed with this app. i paid the one time purchase for Paper Pro back in 2024 and upon downloading it to my new ipad and restoring purchase, I’ve now got no active subscription? No idea when it got changed to a subscription model but the fact that a month for the new paper pro subscription is the same as a perpetual paper pro license was, is ridiculous. this was my favourite app for journalling and i’m very disappointed that i ever wasted money on this, since i’ve lost any access to Paper Pro.
what’s more, is that since only paper pro allowed me to back up my journals and use on other devices and i’ve now lost access to that, i’ve also lost all of my journals. for users that used this prior to the subscription model, paid for pro, and now cannot afford to pay monthly/weekly and hence has lost their journals, i am very sorry.
shame on you. i should be able to still use what i paid for when i purchased it.

Amazing but not that great
I love this app so much but it doesn’t make it very fun when you have to get something that cost money just so you can add more photos. I could make something like a journal without it being money. 4 stars

I have paid and used this app for years with a single charge and years later they decided to charge monthly… greedy. If I knew I would be able to export years of work, I would have never stored my creations here
