Loading Error
Any timeframe for an app update? Was working fine the first few week and now I continue to get an error when loading landing page or comics.
My app got corrupted within a half hour of downloading.
After I attempted to create an account, it crashed. Forcing my username to be “unknown”. If I tried downloading repo’s they would be blank and it would give me some type of error message. It wouldn’t let me delete my account becuse it kept crashing.
Good but keeps crashing
I love this app honestly but could you please do something about how it keep crashing again and again. I have to not use it for some time before I can open it again. It is very annoying!
Used to be good
Was great when it worked. But now it seems almost all sources will throw a loading error these days.
Fantastic app with some minor issues
Would love the ability to download chapters in the background and for the reader to remember how zoomed in I am for each page so that I don’t have to keep zooming in when advancing to the next page on smaller screen devices.
Terrible layout, longstanding issues and no support
The library sync feature for komga does not work no matter what i do. Every single action in this app is over-convoluted, and not explained in the faq. The support for the app is entirely non existent, with you needing to join their discord only to see most help threads being ignored or unsolved, with the actual devs rarely providing help at all. I fought this for an hour before giving up, meanwhile this other komga app i just tried i got running perfectly in 2 minutes.

Doesn’t work even when configured correctly.
I am able to successfully login to my self-hosted Komga server via the bundled extension in the app. However, every attempt to interact with the server after that only results in some kind of JSON Token error that disappears too fast for me to screenshot. This app is clearly not actively maintained and is no longer compatible with recent versions of the Komga server software.

Honestly after the MangaRock purge I didn’t think it would be possible to read manga comfortably. You’ve done it. This app is absolutely fantastic. I honestly haven’t got anything to complain about. It is 100% the most important app I own. Please include auto scroll with speed settings.

Great app for reading manga/verticalstrips/comics
No Ads or IAP! It's fully featured and seems done with development. Works well with komga if you selfhost.
Used it throughout its time on testflight before hitting the appstore, still works well, google where to find extensions/repos before leaving a bad review, my main issue is migrating post update would sometimes break things, cause me to lose my place, honestly fine for what this is used for, not a big deal.
It's actually free and works well unlike the alternatives that want you to pay money for extra features or ad removal.

It’s great in the manga reading part, some extensions don’t work and when I try to put the books in the library it doesn’t show.
It would be 4 stars if i just know how to have a v9, because every extension dosent worl

Used to work but now…
This app used to work pretty good when it came to finding, sorting, and reading comic books/manga. Every now and then a comics pages would not load but it wasn’t a big deal. Now it’s every comic i search up. This includes the dozens of comics I’ve already read and saved in categories. Don’t want to delete the app yet since i like it but idk what’s going on

TLDR; Perfect App for Manga/Manhwa Readers
First off, don’t listen to the 1-star reviews. The app starts off empty, but that’s because YOU as the USER can setup and choose what repos or extensions you’d prefer to get your manga/manwha from. To top it off, you can download everything and use the app with no adds for free. Time used many different adds and sites to digest manga, but nothing tops Paperback. I’ve recommended this app to many of my friends, and they love it. Adding the repos or extensions seemed off putting for me at first, but after LITERALLY five minutes of using my brain and a google search later, I saw how amazing the Paperback truly is. Thank you to the creators and everyone that took the time to make the extensions and whatnot. You all deserve a hug. I recommend joining the discord, just in case some important info comes out in regard to app changes or whatever.

Retry/ read error
Man I love this app but there needs to be a fix to this. Very often when I sit down to read manga , the pages won’t load. Even if I’m close to the router or just running 5g, it doesn’t want to load. Please please fix this issue
