FAQ

What can I create with PaperChibi Lite?

PaperChibi Lite allows you to design and print 3D avatar papercraft. This free version specifically lets you create and print shorter, boxy avatars. You can customize their clothes, hairstyles, eyes, and more before printing the templates for assembly.

How do I assemble the papercraft avatars?

Assembly is straightforward and can be done using common adhesives like an adhesive dot roller, scrapbooking glue dots, a glue stick, or double-sided tape. The app works best with photo paper or card stock for durable creations.

What are the printing options?

You can print your designed avatars directly to your printer using AirPrint. Ensure your printer is set to use 8.5"x11" or A4 paper. The app also allows you to email a PDF of the design or save it to apps like iBooks for later printing.

Is this app suitable for children or educational use?

Yes, the simplest chibi avatars are very kid-friendly and incredibly fun for school art classes. Teachers can consider adding them to storytelling projects, making it a versatile tool for both entertainment and education.

What is the difference between the Lite and full version?

The Lite version provides access to shorter, boxy avatars. The full version unlocks the ability to print taller avatars, as well as additional designs like T-Rex and cars, offering a wider range of creative possibilities.
