This game got me laughing cuz the ad is way different to the actual game. Don’t believe the ‘if u write ur name as Thor u will get a free Thor skin and u will have to play against hulk and superman’. And u don’t actually get the ‘rainbow jelly’ skin because it’s not even real, and the burger thing too! I got the game cuz of the ad but I think that paper.io needs to make an ad that is actually true. kind of annoying tho

😭I put in so much work and I completed the world and I was in this stupid world league where I can’t win and I didn’t when I completed the whole world from master to legendary but it didn’t do it😭😭😭🤬🤬

Updating my review 8/7/26 [see below for original review I left 2 years ago. I am writing a new one because the developers replied to my review saying they fixed the issue].
They DID NOT FIX THE ISSUE. There are still ads that pop up in the middle of the game!! What is their solution?? A timer that lets you know when the ad is coming! It’s still a money-hungry company just hoping you will watch ads and/or pay the fee to remove them. The game is almost UNPLAYABLE unless you pay to remove the ads. Again, DISGUSTING behavior. Basically praying on children’s addictions.
I used to love this game a few years back. Now I’ve downloaded it again and it seems that voodoo has become so money hungry that they’re putting ads in the MIDDLE of your game! You’ll be moving your little square around then bam an ad. Seriously?! In the middle of the game?! Deleted this game just because you can’t even play it without ads everywhere! Can’t even start a game without internet. That’s obviously just so they can get ad revenues. Disgusting.

Way way way way way too many ads!
The ads on this or ridiculous😒😡 you have to have Internet to play it and the only reason is because it wants you to watch advertisements and you know how much I hate advertisements I hate advertisements. They’re the worst thing ever. and also someone wrote a review about the good things about the game and the bad things about it and for bad things he said there were too many advertisements. The creator responded by saying yeah we’re working on the advertisement and being honest they made it worse. Can the creator please fix the advertisement? also, I have 2724 gems. Do I have the world record? Can someone answer me?

ADS ARE INSANE
Game is fun, but ads are overly consuming. It’s typical of these games to have ads after each round, but this one has ads in the middle of each round, AND pop-up banner ads that interrupt it and make you lose your match due to accidentally clicking on them. There’s one specifically that covers the whole screen and if you don’t click it away fast enough, it’ll end your game. (This happened 3 times in a row), and then guess what happens after your match ends? You guessed it- ANOTHER AD. Games that are absolutely riddled with ads I will never pay for, because it’s such a desperate tactic in my opinion. Why not do ads like normal? Ruins the experience

In the ads for the game make the map a big circle, but the levels are not big circle but place like France? The game is amazing though

More ads than gameplay
I don’t mind ads too much in games, but when you interrupt the gameplay nearly every minute to shoehorn another ad, then it becomes ridiculous. It just ruins the experience having an interruption multiple times in a single run AND after each time you finish a run. If it was just ads after every run, then it would be a little more bearable but right now, it’s just unplayable.
