PaperKit is a local-first PDF utility for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It helps you clean up everyday PDF files without an account or server upload. Use PaperKit to: - Merge multiple PDFs into one file - Split a PDF into single-page documents - Compact scanned or image-heavy PDFs - Optimize vector PDFs while preserving selectable text - Add searchable OCR text to scanned pages - Review redaction candidates, add manual areas, and inspect the result before export - Run key actions from Shortcuts, the share sheet, and Mac Finder services PaperKit is designed for private documents. Processing happens on your device. The app does not include ads, analytics SDKs, third-party tracking, accounts, or cloud storage. Optimize keeps selectable text; output size may decrease, stay the same, or increase. Compact, OCR, and Redact modes rebuild pages as raster images. Compact may not preserve selectable text. Redact removes the original page text layer before drawing redaction boxes. Always review exported PDFs before sharing or submitting important materials. You can try up to 2 PDFs and 25 pages per processing run. A one-time purchase removes the app's commercial processing limit on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Device storage, memory, and PDF compatibility limits still apply.
