Great features and flexibility
This scanner app is one of the few that has earned a permanent place on my device since almost everyone has a built in scanner nowadays. It does what it says well, gives you enough control over images and PDF creation that you can do some tailoring (many do not) and the workflow and rules support is awesome for my use. I also like the payment model - it’s well worth showing your support with the Pro upgrade.

Great Scanning App with lots of features 👍🏼
A used SwiftScan for years and paid for their app. However, over the years they tried to constantly upsell paid users and everytime you would open the app: Bam! You want to upgrade to a subscription?! As a paid user?! Let's hope Paperlogix doesn't emulate them 🤞 Then I found this app - a hidden gem without a subscription, clean and feature-rich. A feature that I'm missing in this app though and that I use often is being able to turn on the flashlight (not flash) during a capture. That's would be super helpful.

This app deserves more love
Great scanner with many customization options. It holds its own with the very popular apps out there. The only thing I've missed is the inability to lock individual folders, but it's more than made up for with other options.
Does not support iCloud and no way to backup!!??
I was excited for this app because it offers a way to organize files for later reference, but there’s no way to back it all up in case you lose you phone.
A few other gripes:
- when viewing saved scans, the document names are highly truncated, both in the list view and when viewing the scanned doc itself
- after scanning a doc there’s not any good feedback to let me know that it scanned. And I’m not sure how to reframe after it scans incorrectly.
- no iCloud support??

Thanks for your review. A simple way to back up your Paperlogix documents is to enable iCloud Backup in iOS Settings. Restoring a device from iCloud Backup would then restore all of your Paperlogix documents and data. We're considering adding support for iCloud sync in the future, which would enable synchronization of documents and data between multiple devices. Another possible technique is to use automation rules to archive or backup documents. For example, a Created Rule can be setup to automatically upload new documents to cloud services. To re-frame a scan, tap the thumbnail image in the lower-right corner of the capture view. This will open an editor for adjusting the crop frame, colors, and rotation. You can also adjust cropping or revert to your original camera image after your scan has been saved. Hope this helps. Feel free to contact us if you have other questions or feedback.
Love the app
I scan plenty and a good app is a must for me. The only thing i wish for is the ability to save to iCloud rather than to photos. Still I think this is a good app.
Doesn’t support real iOS automation
This app has a lot of potential, but this is an honest rating. Without URL x-callback support the app can’t be used with Workflow, so the automation is very limited at this point. It’s a shame really, there is a big opportunity here for somebody to do iOS automation properly for a scanning app. A URL scheme would allow actions to be built for apps like Devonthink, and so on. Evernote integration is table stakes, and other apps have similar in-app automation, so this is not yet doing anything new. It does have a nice UI though.

Eine großartige App, mit der ich Dokumente einscannen und automatisiert ablegen kann.
Dokumente können mit Hilfe von Textregeln automatisch umbenannt und in verschiedene Ordner abgelegt werden.
Damit muss ich eingehenden Papierdokumente nur noch mit Paperlogix abfotografieren und der Rest erledigt sich wie von Zauberhand.
Die inzwischen realisierte Integration von Evernote ist grandios. An Hand der Regeln werden die Dokumente direkt in die richtigen Notizbücher hochgeladen.
Wünsche für künftige Releases:
- Die Texterkennung darf noch ein wenig besser werden, denn das erleichtert das Erstellen der Textregeln.
- Erweiterung der Integration von Evernote, um auch Schlagworte vergeben zu können.
- Automatisches Senden der E-Mail aus dem Workflow an eine zuvor festgelegte E-Mail-Adresse.
Danke für die tolle App. Funktioniert bei mir wunderbar.

Almost there...
Very good start. Needs much polishing in the behavior area. Workflow is too limited. Implement the Workflow app and IFTTT app and it would be much better. Date and naming is too restrictive. NEED AUTO SAVING TO ICLOUD! More tag color options. Conditional workflow options. Scans are awesome. We just need more flexibility and customization. I’m a readdle Scanner Pro and CamScanner lifer but you almost have me converted with a little more development. Please upgrade quickly.

Great time saving app
I have been waiting for an app like this for so long. The ability to scan a document and have rules that automatically save it to a particular location has saved me so much time and means I can finally get rid of stacks of paperwork so easily!
Some minor issues such as the ocr is not hugely accurate all of the time which means you have to create lots of keywords in your rules to improve the chances of them working correctly.
It would also be great to create more complex rules using logic functions and have a method of dealing with scans that trigger multiple rules incorrectly.
All in all a great app.

Terrific v1
I just downloaded this app and I’m really impressed with V1. Lots of terrific features and the workflow capabilities are really good.
A few hopes for the upcoming releases.
1. iCloud and OneDrive support.
2. Greater flexibility to define the scan file name.
3. Settings sync between devices using iCloud.
I’m still digesting the features and functionality. Great start!
