About

Papers is a private vault for the paperwork of your life: bills, invoices, leases, warranties, and everything in between. Scan or import a document and Apple Intelligence reads it for you: a clean title, sensible tags, the amounts and dates that matter, and a reminder before anything is due. Ask your library a question in plain words and get an answer that cites its sources. • Scan with the camera, or import photos, PDFs, and files • Upcoming dates surface in Needs Attention. One tap adds them to Reminders or Calendar • Lists keep related documents together and can be shared with family through iCloud • Search everywhere, Spotlight and Handoff, and a two-page layout on iPhone Duo Private by design. No accounts, no ads, no tracking. Your documents live in your own iCloud and never pass through the developer's servers. Anything that looks sensitive is kept out of AI and sharing automatically, and the app locks with your face or fingerprint. Free for 10 documents with every feature included. Documents Unlimited is a single one-time purchase. No subscription, ever.

What's New in Papers

1.1.0

October 15, 2026

Made for iPhone Duo. Open it and your library, your documents, and the first-run screens spread across both pages, with nothing left in the fold. Documents open as a two-page spread, and the toolbar sits along the edge where your thumb is. Also in this version: • Edit pages in place. Add, reorder, or remove pages without leaving the document. • Choose whether documents show up in Spotlight while Papers is locked (Settings). • Imports and analysis are safer: a file that can't be read tells you why, and nothing is lost if analysis stops partway. • Clearer wording throughout. Every message says what happened and what to do next. • Fixed a crash when editing a list.
