About

PaperSpine helps bookbinding enthusiasts plan blank handmade books. Enter finished dimensions and a page count, then balance folded sheets across signatures within your chosen sheet limit. Inspect the left and right page numbers on both sides of every sheet, with added blank pages clearly identified. Start from 12 built-in presets and adjust dimensions, pages, hole count and end margins. Save, search, edit and delete personal projects, keep gathered marks for signatures, and reopen your work later. Available on iPhone and iPad. Wide iPad windows use sidebar navigation and place specifications beside signature page pairs or punching diagrams. Narrow windows adapt to a single column. Export a signature plan or an A4 punching template with a 50 mm calibration line. Save files using the system share sheet. Print at 100% / Actual Size and measure the calibration line before using the template. Designed for blank books with a single fold and left-to-right reading. It does not import or impose existing documents, calculate paper thickness or trimming allowance, or assess stitch strength. Diagrams and counts are calculated from entered values, not physical measurements. Core functions work offline, without accounts, ads, tracking, analytics or device permission requests. Projects are stored locally and may be included in system device backups. The interface supports Simplified Chinese and English; the English and default name is PaperSpine, and the Simplified Chinese name is 纸脊工坊. System language matching may fall back to a later Simplified Chinese preference; otherwise unsupported languages use English.
