No IPhone Widget
The paprika guide says this app is supposed to have a widget but I’ve spent hours trying to “fix” it but still no widget. I would have never bought if I knew there wasn’t a widget.
Maybe a Perfect App
I paid for it once and that was it, it has worked flawlessly for years, I keep thinking I’ll try using Notion or something when I get a wild hair, but I’ll always come back because I’ve never had a complaint.

I’ve used this app for years now. It’s just fantastic.
Fabulous Recipe App
I have been using this app for years. It is a great way to capture, organize and plan recipes, menus and shopping. I have used it both personally and as a professional baker to plan large catering events. The recipes can be multiplied out to 100 x’s. I am able to easily send new recipes to staff who have also downloaded this app and I do not have to worry if they have done the math correctly.

Makes saving recipes easy!
I used to print them out and lose them. Now they are all in one place and handy when I travel.

I’ve used a lot of recipe apps over the years, and this is the BEST one I’ve ever seen or used! It is so well designed, and it’s a pleasure to use. It’s a big timesaver when it comes to saving recipes and searching my recipes for what I want to cook.
At first look, it doesn’t appear to do a lot, but that’s because the design is so elegant. Having such a large assortment of features doesn’t get in the way of making it simple to use.
Some of my favorite features:
• For a large number of websites, I can click one button to save the entire recipe in the app. For any other website, I can tell it where the title, ingredients, and directions are, and it will save the recipe.
• I can set up categories of my choice, and put a recipe into any one or more categories for easy organization.
• When I plan the menus for the week, with the tap of a button, it will create a grocery list for me.
• I can search for partial recipe name, or for one or more ingredients, as well as other things.
• If I want, I can link a recipe to other related or similar ones.
• I could go on listing more great features, but I’d rather just go and use the app!

Add custom price to ingredients.
Feature request to add price to all ingredients, per kg / per 100g.. adding total to recipes.
Lifesaver!
I’ve used quite a few of these apps now and this one is by far my favorite! Grocery list is very easy to manage and recipe importer works very well, rarely do I have to correct anything. The only thing I would add is the ability to order grocery pickup/instacart etc. As far as standard recipe manager/meal plan apps go, there’s nothing I would change.

Pantry Inventory Feature
I’ve had this app for years and when I saw that a pantry inventory option was added I was excited to upgrade for this feature. Unfortunately I was disappointed to learn that the feature is completely manual, no barcode scanning feature. I would be willing to take the time to scan the barcode of cans and boxes, but typing everything in by hand makes the feature pretty useless for me. I really hope a barcode scanner is added in the near future! It would be super convenient to check my canned food inventory from the supermarket. :)

Great app, no support
The app itself is great although it is missing some modern day features. The ability to add a recipe from a PDF or to scan a recipe in from a magazine or a book come to mine
That said, there is absolutely zero support with emails going unanswered.
For anyone thinking of purchasing these apps, as needs to purchase for each platform, you might want to keep that in mind

Best available, with some low hanging fruit to make it even better
Would be awesome if the recipe search function also searched ingredients, not just recipe titles. And if there was an undo button for checking off grocery list items. And if the grocery list autocomplete suggestions searched all words, not just in order they are currently written…just a few small things to make it work even better!

Love this but lately it is struggling
I absolutely loveD this app for years!! I have encouraged many others to buy it. However, lately it struggles to download or download the information correctly. I’m not sure if an update is necessary from the developers or what. It spins in “downloading” and I have to force quit the app. Other times it downloads it in double or leaves out information. I love this app for the ability to scroll and download great recipes. If I wanted a copy and paste version, I could have that for free.

I love it for more than a decade
I originally bought paprika when we bought a second home in 2013 so i didn’t have to bring my recipe cards and books back and forth. I use paprika every week at least once. It has been great to collect and add my recipes. I have input them while in the car driving on long trips. I find inspo online and i can add. I would like an upgrade to add from Instagram, wish list

Loved it up until now. Can’t even open it.
Terrible organization
There is no way to edit or delete categories, despite the user guide saying there is. You can only add categories.

This recipe organizer really helped my home cooking, I was very tired of all the online add pop-ups and this circumnavigated that sublimely
Paprika Prophet
Whenever I have a conversation with/ someone about food and cooking, I’m highly likely to proselytize Paprika to the unconverted. I use it several times a week. It works flawlessly, and the ability to download, sort, and store web-based recipes is immensely valuable to me and my family. The grocery list-making feature also works well sorting your grocery list by aisle.
This is my favorite app I’ve ever purchased, and I think I’ve used it for five years or so.

Super easy and intuitive design, using this every day and it’s so helpful for organizing all my favorite recipes. Definitely worth the small one time fee.
The little recipe app that could
I found recipeme on a trial and then my daughter told me about Paprika. With the exception of automatically adding in Facebook recipes, this app does everything else. And it does it much more affordably. I’ve been happy so far with this app and will recommend it to everyone.
