no maps

well I love the simplicity of the app but I am having trouble downloading the maps . Would you help me out . maybe I need to be connected to gps first for the maps to appear ?

Response from developer

Thank you for your question. Yes GPS must be turned on for the app to find your position. If you answered no when prompted by ParaMap to use your location information you can go into your phone settings to re-enable "Location". You must also have either mobile or wifi access to download maps over the internet. Some users view the area they will fly in at home so that the maps will download over wifi and not use any data from their mobile plans.
