Good app but slow
App is really good and i enjoy the case studies etc but the app is pretty clunky to use and occasionally will just shut down randomly.
Where’s is my CPD? Lost…….
Logged some CPD and your app crashed. Where do I now get my CPD log from as it appears to be lost?
ECG quiz?
Overall the app is great and really useful. However, I wonder if you’ve considered including some ECG interpretation quizzes as part of the app as I’m sure a lot of people would find it really useful.
Not recognising user name/email address
Tried to sign in tonight but it stated it couldn’t recognise my e Mail or user name, updated app and after hour deleted the app and reinstalled it, but still stated it couldn’t recognise my email address. I could log in on my phone, but the answers wouldn’t show on the questions, went back to try and log in on my iPad, but again with no avail, not much fun when you have an assessment on ParaPass the following day.

Questions don’t load
It’s good, but Half of the questions I can’t even answer because It doesn’t load any answers to the question??
Keeps refreshing when you come of the app 😡

This app is perfect for keeping knowledge at the desired level to practice competently. I am sure for those progressing to any career in the Ambulance Service it would be a great assistance.

I’m an NQP and this app is brilliant to help me before starting full time, it’s great to refresh your memory of everything in JRCALC. It includes medical conditions, drugs, pain and pretty much everything in JRCALC. Such a good app if you learn best from doing quizzes, the app lets you reference jrcalc too so you don’t need to search for a section if your answer is wrong, the app will do it for you. Recommended for students, NQP’s or anyone looking to keep up to date with their CPD and knowledge.

General improvement but I miss the 100 question quiz
I’ve been a subscriber for a few years and welcome the new look and incorporation of StandbyCPD. I can’t help but miss the 100 question monthly quiz. It was challenging, took several days to complete thoroughly and the app allowed you to carry on where you left off. The variety of the topics also let you clearly identify knowledge gaps. It made the certificate at the end a prize and not just another CPD ‘participation certificate’. Please reinstate the 100 question monthly mega-quiz and the ability to complete it over several sessions.

Useful for CPD or for learning
Useful app for learning or for CPD. Works well, no issues as yet.Uses same login as JRCalc app which is handy and refers you to the guideline when you answer a question. You also can print pdf certificates for CPD records if you want.
Brilliant CPD
Great to have online CPD assessments and information. Love the quizzes available after the different sections. Can print off certificates as well for your portfolio. Would definitely recommend for all healthcare students.

This app is excellent for CPD purposes and PGD’s within certain trusts, definitely worth obtaining this due to the CPD aspects and continuous support from class professional in relation to contemporary paramedic practice.

Quizzes are great, allows you to identify knowledge gaps. JRCALC references also take you straight to relevant guideline so you can go over sections you got wrong.

Student Paramedic Free Trial of PARAPass
ParaPass is effective for students to learn a broad context of trivia within the ambulance service. It allows students to enhance their knowledge on topics and treatments that are not mundane in practice. The app is easily accessible and well layed out. It is clear that the production of this app was thoroughly planned out. Making this app available to all students would be ideal in their professional stages, whether being a first year student, or 2 years post NQP. I would highly recommend this app to anyone who is considering its purchase.

I’m a student paramedic going into my final year, it’s hard to find short, concise direct CPD. This app has solved the issues! It covers all topics in Jrcalc, and the case studies are so good to relate to jobs we’ve been to!! Would highly recommend😁

This is so concise and easy to understand, all points and options are explained with such attention to detail. As someone aiming for a career in paramedicine this helps me, someone who doesn’t have much medical knowledge, get a head start and gain an understanding of approaching the scene and how to manage typical scenarios seen on a paramedic’s usual day. Cannot recommend enough!

Brilliant for student paramedics
Absolutely fantastic app for student paramedics, I am going into 3rd year and I am able to see what I need to focus on. The quizzes are great and the standby CPD helps put it into perspective. It’s really good and I would highly recommend.
It’s very good but I think there should be a student price it would be very helpful for their learning but it might be a bit too expensive for some. I also think there should be some more case studies, I can’t find many on there
But all in all it’s a brilliant app for learning!!

Worth paying for
I am an Ambulance Technician and I must say I find this app very useful when on standby I get a chance to keep up with my CPD and improve my knowledge base I lot of work gone into this app and the links to the SME pages are great keep up the good work team cannot wait for further updates in the future.
