Don’t work
The server seems to be shutdown, no feature in the app works. I can’t find anything online about the hardware in the Parcel Guard.
I wish companies were more careful about discontinuing cloud services by open source hardware access their products to not make them complete useless for buyers.
Unfortunately it’s not the case and this is just a last remain of another bad cloud based product that has died.

No longer supported!
Was good while it lasted but alas Danby no longer supports the app and the app no longer works. So the features that made the parcel box are a bust! Danby has screwed its customers!

Si Danby ne font pas de mise à jour l’application devient inutile et par le fait aucun réglage de la boîte n’est possible.
J’ai essayé l’application sur un Androïde et l’application bien que lente fonctionne.
Alors SVP mettez l’application à jour pour iPad et IPhone et si la boîte fonctionne correctement je réviserai mes commentaires.
Pourtant l’app a bien fonctionné pendant plusieurs mois avant les mises à jour d’Apple.

Please update
4 years since last update? App does not work well. Cannot connect easily Cannot choose burn code in the app since some numbers dont work, only numbers 1-2-3-4 can be used for code.Unable to add anymore scheduled deliveries. Useless app.
Great hardware, painfully unreliable application
This is such a great concept, but this app seems neglected at best and needs an overhaul. Connection to the device works rarely, accounts have permissions added and revoked frequently, even changing menus sometimes takes minutes while the app tries to load. This makes the device a very expensive lockbox and not much more. If you are buying for the smart elements, look elsewhere. The parcel guard itself is however well designed and feature rich. It would be wonderful to have an app that uses it to its full potential!

App needs an update, product is unusable. Cannot register to use.

The app definitely needs an update so does the device’s firmware if possible.
Not worth the money
Have had nothing but issues with this device. Every time the iPhone updates the app stops working. Developers don’t seem to keep up to date with their app. Half the time you can’t log into the app without getting an error message. I would not recommend buying this product. Save your money and purchase something better.

Needs a lot of work
1) the help function under the side tab isn’t functional.
2) there’s no way to reset the connection to the router in the app.
3) settings reset themselves to factory without user permission (eg video quality).

August 2022: App doesn’t work anymore
August 2022: Parcel Guard app does not work anymore. I see I’m logged in but the app does not see my Parcel Guard box anymore. I cannot access any of the settings. I cannot add a new box. I cannot even log out! This app was already a nightmare to use. Sluggish, buggy, very slow video response time, huge video lag… Now it’s not even working anymore. The last app update is from 2 years ago. So, clearly Danby does not support their Parcel Guard product anymore. I’m now left with a very expensive plastic box on my porch.

When do you plan on updating this app. It is barely functional.
Very satisfied
The app is working great. I love this product. It’s great for air bnb when you want to keep control of your mail. It’s like having a ring mailbox. I think there are some design issues. It’s hard to get the box flush to the wall because of the power cord. Otherwise I’m super excited to use this product.

Connects to 2.4 ghz only
Parcel Guard app is only able to connect to the unit with a 2.4 ghz router...not compatible with 5.0 ghz high speed WIFI...great idea, great product but it needs some fine tuning....stuck with a $600 useless plastic cabinet.
