A myriad of things go through my head. At first, the less screentime, the more time you get to enjoy life, spend time with friends, help better ur quality of life, etc. Though there is one problem, it blocks every single app. It CAN be a good app but u simply can’t chose what apps are restricted which disadvantages this app tremendously. It would be better if u had more accessibility to what you want to do with the screentime and blocked apps. Sometimes the screentime just runs out and you were not even online with the phone open. Sometimes it just doesn’t give u screentime even though ur parent allowed you. Overall it’s not an inadequate app, but it can be improved, with more accessibility, more choice and better overall more freedom for both parties.

This thing definitely needs to let kids choose 1 or 2 apps that they should be allowed to use for at least 1 and a half extra hours after their allowed screen time

Good for safety but….
I’m the kid here please make it easier for parents to allow apps while in lock mode because the only way is to hook my phone up to a laptop which me and my parents don’t have time for.

i honestly dont know what to say, but this app damaged my relationship with my mom. i used to cry myself to sleep everytime my apps were shut off and i felt trapped and restricted

Mon enfant déteste cette applis grâce à elle il me déteste me parle plus et dessine. Mais il lâche son cellulaire! Maintenant il dessine avec de la peinture!!! Hier je l’ai vus dessiner avec de la peinture rouge!!! Il se lève même de plus en plus tôt!! Par contre aujourd’hui il ne se lève pas une vrai marmotte!!

Don’t work
It worked to start with then when I unlock it with my phone the app refused to unlock on my child’s phone. I even tried to put it in parent mode and still wouldn’t. Had to wipe the phone out to get rid it of.

stop using those automated responses to everything and actually read the contents in them. we aren’t forgetting when you replied to a review talking about how their daughter committed suicide over the app saying to “go talk to your parents.” sure, it may have been fake, but what about the possibility of it being real? would anyone with a heart even think of saying something so immature to a grieving parent, let alone someone in CUSTOMER SERVICE? i guess you guys will do anything for a paycheck.

No live tech support only text msg support- horrible
I had difficulty installing- requested to talk with tech support but they DONT have a phone!!!! Have to message every discussion.
I attempted to install advanced protection but you need a computer ie laptop or desk top didn’t see that specs.
Horrible experience.
This is only my second day of my 3 day free trial but when I tried to cancel it it appears they have charged my card before my trial period was over as it says expires 2027.
I will update this review if I get these issues worked out.

This is so bad! so I tried to delete the app and after I deleted it, it still lock my iPad! So I told my mom about it and she said can’t be deleted!So I lost all my apps and I can’t download anything. Please answer!
Glitch in security
This app has everything I needed. Very user friendly and easy to set up for someone not so tech savvy. Unfortunately for Kidslox, my son IS very tech savvy. He found a glitch within less than 24hours of using the app. This flash on the screen and his quick fingers was able to go into the settings and disable the app before the screen was able to tell him he couldn’t.

3. Une fois en mode " lockdown " l’application (dans les versions ultérieures de Apple) mélange les applications et les gens organisés comme perdre leur organisation d’applications et les blocs d’applications se détruisent en plus J’ai lu dans un avis un client que les applications ont continué de se Mélanger après la désinstallation de Kidslox
4. La fonction carte n’est pas accessible en mode " lockdown "
Pour continuer, voici les autre problèmes autres que les "bug"
1. Le fait que les parents aillent accès à notre intimité comme notre historique de recherche ou tout ce que l’on fait sur notre téléphone transforme les parents en monstres volants notre intimité
2. Les parents ont " un droit de véto " sur tout à cause qu’ils peuvent couper notre temps
3. Les parents ont un accès à notre limite donc aux moindres problèmes ils coupent notre temps
Pour finir, n’osez même pas de repondre à mon avis par " si vous êtes un enfant discuter de votre limite avec vos parents " et pour tout les enfants qui ont lu mon avis de un merci et de deux utiliser le mode avion pour avoir un accès illimité de temps car l’application à besoin de wifi pour fonctionner donc votre limite ne s’activera pas

Creepy app
I was using it and a weird vpn popped up I didn’t know what it was later I tried posting a video on youtube and I couldn’t I deleted it and It re-download its self which was not normal for a few HOURS I tried deleting it until now. DONT USE IT. Part 2 so when I deleted it when I WAS the parent it deleted all my apps AND now I can’t download anything so now I can’t even use my phone

I easily disabled this last year, no one found out, very easy do disable but this app is so stupid, what’s the actual point in putting a time limit on like???
Used 224 GB within 10 months
I’ve had kidslock on my child’s phone for 10 months and it has used 224GB so far. Contacted support and they said we can’t do anything to help it or fix it
