Shut down app with No warning!! Don’t use
Response from developer
You were right, and you deserve a straight answer: the app went quiet for a long stretch, and your experience — login failing, blocks not holding on your son's phone — was the result. That's on us. This year we rebuilt Parental Values from the ground up on Apple's Family Controls framework, which means blocks are now enforced by iOS itself at the device level: a blocked app stays blocked, and a new auto-block feature locks every newly installed app until you approve it. If you hit any account or login issue, support@parentalvalues.app and a human will sort it out personally. Every feature is free for 30 days, no strings. We'd be grateful for the chance to earn back your trust. — Team Parental Values
Can’t find the child app
Response from developer
Hi — you were right to be confused, and we're sorry about that. Good news: there's no separate child app to hunt for anymore. Parental Values was rebuilt from the ground up this year — you now install this same app on both phones, add your child via Apple Family Sharing, and pair the two devices with a QR code. Setup takes about four minutes. Blocking, daily limits, schedules, location alerts and web filtering are all enforced through Apple's Family Controls framework, so rules actually hold. Every feature is free to test for 30 days. If you give it another look, we'd love to hear how it goes — and if it wins you back, an updated review would mean a lot. — Team Parental Values Contact; support@parentalvalues.app

Works for what I want, sort of
Response from developer
You diagnosed the old app's biggest flaw exactly. Back in 2021, iOS didn't give parental apps real enforcement power, so blocks could silently undo themselves — endlessly frustrating, and we're sorry. Fixing that is the whole reason we rebuilt Parental Values from the ground up on Apple's Family Controls framework: blocks are now enforced by iOS itself, so a blocked app stays blocked until you unblock it. There are also per-app daily limits, schedules, a one-tap Instant Block for the whole phone, and the web filtering you liked now includes SafeSearch. Every feature is free for 30 days if you'd like to see the difference — and if it finally does what you needed, an updated review would make our week. — Team Parental Values support@parentalvalues.app
