Where is the submit absence option?
Can’t find the submit absence option
No notification
No matter how the app has been updated, even my IOS has been updated to the latest. Even after trying reinstalling it; making sure my setting for notification is right; i still have issues receiving pushed notification from my phone when the school has new post. And even if i have missed notifications, the app does not have badge notifcation when i have unread post to remind user. I had missed a few important messages from the announcement.

Access to calendars
Why does the app require full access to my personal calendar just to add school events? It should only need permission to add events, not to view or modify everything in my private schedule. MOE should clarify the reason for this level of access—privacy matters
Improvement Needed
Can enhance the user experience by allowing the scrolling from notice to notice without having the click the Back Page. Enable Select “All Read” as an option.
New message is not loading
Currently able to received new notification but the new message is not loading. Please look into it.

There’s no search option and the app can only used on the phone. Not user friendly at all.

Desperately needs development
This app is a 99% endless stream of worthless content about grants and bursaries which buries important updates such as exam dates. 1) Allow parents to unsubscribe from pointless information and subscribe to what is relevant to them. 2) PLEASE GIVE US A SEARCH FUNCTION so we can wade through all the nonsense. 3) Ability to save documents to personal profile for ease of finding important things. FOR SOME REASON, my kids’ school tells my children that they’re not going to give them information in the classroom and instead to go home and ask their parents to find it on parents gateway, so we need a better way to find information. Apparently in this day and age a teacher cannot simply tell a student when their exam date is. They tell the kids to go ask their parents!!!!!!!!!

Where is the search function?!!
I wish there was a zero star or negative star rating. Having been forced to use this platform / app for however many years now, there is still no search function. I don’t know how many hours worn out parents have wasted scrolling through endless lists of messages opening each one in the hope that the hidden piece of information is inside. So, so tired of this nonsense - it’s been years now. Please get your act together

App only serves as notification
Hope the app can allow communication link to sms of the sender…

Cannot load
Been only 2 weeks. The gateway cannot even load the screens at all, how do i even see it he progress of my kid? Its just primary 1 only in 2024 and i am using iphone 15. Loading over 15mins n still seeing nothing!!!!
Can you fix this
My child has a appointment coming up but Parents Gateway does not show it.

Search button
I find this app abit troublesome to search for past bulletins where I have to scroll one by one to look for the particular info.
It would be helpful if there was a search icon where we could just search for the keyword & it would direct us to the most compatible bulletin.

There's no option to clear all unread messages.
Stress !!
A Very stressful app for the parent… being forced to read and make lotsa acknowledgements and if we are late the teachers would call us up to finish any outstanding replies.. parent became like students as well. A lot of work to do.
Terrible to require singpass
Terrible idea because it leaves out parents without a singpass.

Singpass is the only authentication gateway for the PG app due to security reasons. We apologise for the inconvenience. Please let the school know and they will use alternative means to ensure you are duly updated.
Under maintenance
I’m no longer able to launch the app anymore and promoted “under maintenance”. I keep receiving notifications but not able to open the app on my iPhone. I’ve reinstalled app and still the same. I have recently received an important update about my daughters cca and not able to view
Edit after submission
Whoever created this app shld upgrade the software so that parents are able to edit the reply so long it’s within the deadline
As working parents, we tends to overlook on the message and by the time we have the time to read the message, there might already be few messages to reply
Thus we tend to reply to wrong messages therefore by having edit option would allow us to make changes if required so long it’s before the deadline
This is not a user friendly app, extremely disappointed
