So supportive in many ways👋🏾.

Communication rules the nation. My child. Education . Exams. What’s what. Reminders, Invites and more. The best.

Notifications are so annoying!

With the new update, notifications are so annoying! Even if you read the message, you still have to mark the notifications as “read”. So many clicks to make the notification badge go away.

Terrible app

So hard to manage and figure out how to find info! Clunky at best

Difficulties

Sorry to report that I have a difficult time with this app. (I will admit that I am technologically challenged but, still – it seems tough to navigate. Generally speaking when I get a text linking me to the app I can usually see the content intended. However, when I open, the app independently is hard to find things, and I noticed above all that the calendar is in frequently updated.

Phenomenal

Parent Square is super user-friendly,support team is great. It is modern looking and the updates are always making it and more useful. It’s easy to use as a parent but also for staff. As the chair of our school’s PTA I am using PS all the time. Writing post logging hours making sign ups. It’s great.

Convenient and Useful

It is very user friendly. I like how quick it is to access. It’s nice to be able to send a message to multiple people at once. I love being able to see pictures of my kids at school.

Parent Square

Great app! Love how we can easily communicate with the teachers vis messages, newsletters and announcements. Also easy access to bus drivers ! Thank you for supporting our children!

This is a very good and important app

👍good job and thank you

Almost there

App is pretty good overall, although the date picker for submitting absences only allows the current and future dates, you can’t submit for a previous date. Simple fix on the developers end.

Less connected

This app is so much more difficult to use than DOJO. Less details provided for behavior and very cumbersome to get to what is available.

ParentSquare

Excellent! Easy navigation notes and updates! Making School to Family relationships personal and helpful!

Messaging

Teacher group message, should not allow group response

Glitches

I been went to notifications and told it to stop sending my messages yet the app still text my phone it got so annoying I just blocked it all together it doesn’t do what I tell it to

Has potential, but major flaw

This app has the potential to be incredibly useful, but it has a major flaw that you can’t delete a post in your feed which means everything remains cluttered and you have to hold onto messages that don’t pertain to you. That literally makes the app useless for me.

Never Works

I’ve spent so much time getting access over and over. It’s exhausting just to check a soccer schedule.

Why can only two people see it?!

The fact that only two parents can view anything on this app is ridiculous. This app is a joke. When families have two sets of parents, the child(ren) live with only one parents, so if a kid lives with a parent and step parent, only one of them can have access to information. I can’t stand this app bc of this. Your developers need to create the ability for more than 2 users to have login access. Absolutely Useless.

Horrible replacement for Remind

Here’s a short, direct review:

ParentSquare has not been a good replacement for Remind. It is not user-friendly, and the transition from Remind has been frustrating for both teachers and parents. At Open House, I surveyed my parents, and 99% said they preferred Remind and found it much easier to use and communicate through. As a teacher, I also found Remind significantly faster and more efficient. Tasks that took seconds in Remind can take 50 times longer to complete in ParentSquare. Overall, Remind was a much simpler, easier and more effective communication tool.

Underwhelmed

I have been allowed to use seesaw and/or dojo the entire time I have taught in my district. We are now required to use ParentSquare district wide and not allowed to use any other platform, but elementary needs a more user-friendly app to share pictures and videos with parents of young students use anything else. I could see the benefits of secondary. I have several coworkers in elementary that simply stopped sharing pictures and videos with parents because it’s too time-consuming or doesn’t well.
