Really cool

I like it a lot all the state parks and other things. The last thing it needs is all us national forests historic monuments stuff like that.

Lost all my notes

I used the free version for over a week and made notes of the dates I visited for well over 50 parks in my lifetime since the app does not account for any date except when entered. Then they upgraded, made me pay. I bought it and they lost all my notes.

Also it does not include State Historic Parks like Mastodon in MO, State Resort Parks like the Cumberland one in TN and Natural Bridge in KY, and some for no apparent reason like the Adirondacks in NY or Fishermen’s Memorial State Park in RI.

Response from developer

We’re sorry you lost your notes! The free version of the app only allows 10 parks, but when upgrading it should carry over. You can adjust the visited date on any of your visits on the new My Journey screen, tap a visit and you can adjust the date and time. We do only have official state parks for now (as listed on each states website) not historic sites. If we are missing any parks please let us know. We are always looking into adding more parks.

Couldn’t even find local parks or trails in my city

Response from developer

We are sorry you didn't find the app useful. The app only has official state parks, national parks, and national wildlife refuges. It does not contain city or county parks, and is not a hiking trail app.

Great!

Great app and simple to use!

Great app

Great app and easy to use. If you love exploring the outdoors, Park Marker is a true game‑changer. The app features an intuitive map that covers every state park in the U.S., with filters that help you find the perfect spot—whether you’re into hiking, bird‑watching, camping, or scenic drives. What really sets it apart is the tracking feature: you can log park visits, add custom photos and notes.
