Jammed packed app

Very helpful. Would be nice to show some hiking & cycling trails on maps.

Parks Canada location map

The only thing I’ve really used on this app is the map. The problem is that whoever put it together didn’t do their homework. It is titled “Map of National Parks” and has 37 markers on it. Since the app is labeled “Parks Canada”, I was assuming that it is supposed to be a map of the Parks Canada National Parks. The problem is that Parks Canada has 44 National Parks, and only 34 of the 37 markers represent current Parks Canada National Parks.

The following are mismarked.

Marker #14: St. Lawrence Islands National Park no longer exists. The name was changed to Thousand Islands National Park, which is listed as #37. They are/were the same park.

Marker #25: Miguasha National Park does not belong to Parks Canada. It is part of Parcs Québec .

Marker #30: Tatshenshini-Alsek is a Provincial Park

The following Parks Canada parks are not flagged on the map:

Gwaii Haanas

Ivvavik

Kouchibouguac

La Mauricie

Mingan Archipelago

Nááts'ihch'oh

Quttinirpaaq

Ukkusiksalik

Vuntut
