About

Parks Passport is a simple way to keep track of every national park you have been to. There are 474 National Park Service places across the US, from the big headline parks, to monuments, historic sites, seashores, battlefields, and trails. Parks Passport gives you a digital stamp to collect for each one, and a fun virtual passport to keep them in. HOW IT WORKS Collecting a stamp takes seconds, and there are two ways to do it: Open the app while you are at a park and let it stamp the place you are standing in, or search for a park and mark it visited. That is the whole idea. No account, no feed, no noise. Just your collection, growing one visit at a time. YOUR PASSPORT, THREE WAYS Book: page through your stamps like a real passport. Stamps: a wall of hand-pressed imprints. List: a clean run of every park you have collected. SEE YOUR PROGRESS The Stats screen keeps a running count of all your visits by type: National Parks, Monuments, Historic Sites, Historical Parks, Memorials, Battlefields, and Shores and Recreation Areas. Watch each category fill in as you explore. BUILT FOR THE LONG HAUL Log past trips with any date, so your whole history lives in one place. Stamp a favorite more than once; it still counts as one place collected. Find any park fast with search, filters, and an A to Z index. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your location is used only while the app is open, to offer the park you are near. It is never tracked in the background and never leaves your device. There is no sign-up and no server watching your visits. Your collection is simply yours. FREE TO START Browsing and searching every one of the 474 places is always free, and the 62 National Parks are free to collect. To collect other stamps, a one-time purchase of Stamp Pack: US Parks unlocks them all. Parks Passport is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the National Park Service or any other government agency. Park data courtesy of the U.S. National Park Service, nps.gov.
