Amazing App !

I have used this for a couple of months; One of the most powerful tools to help your French pronunciation, easy to use; and you can add your own sentences to practice—I found that’s really useful! 5 stars !!

Good one

Nice app to improve pronunciation and speaking. One thing annoys me is that every time I open the app it asks me to provide rating on google. This is really irritating.

Better than Duolingo

I’ve been learning on Duolingo for a long time now, but I realized that all of the pronunciations are wrong and I didn’t learn much but I do like this app

Day 2 Solution

I’m on day two and I’m loving it. This was the solution. I was looking for all along to learn how to speak French properly. I’m just curious as to I had to pay for the app again today. I’m hoping it was a mistake in my account will not be charged twice for the same service. If someone in customer service could look into that for me I would be forever grateful.

Good speech recognition but bad using of it - shame

I was looking for an app with good speech recognition to lean French. This app has it. But it’s poorly developed on everything else. It doesn’t follow your practice, leaves you alone to know which exercises you’ve done before, once you get one sentence right it disappear from your “to work on” list. It’s a mess. No wonder why you can try it for free for a few a few days. And it’s truly a shame - regarding French, it’s the best speech recognition I’ve fond - and I’ve looked all over. Only here they are putting to waste. Do not recommend.

A ChatGPT wrapper scam

Please do not give into the reddit ads. This app doesn’t let you use it for free. The closest option is to subscribe for a year and get a 7 day trial. Upon access to app there are a handful of random phrases which you speak and it gives an arbitrary percentage about how close it sounded to a native speaker. There is no in app option to change the level of proficiency of user, assuming the phrases change based on it. There is no menu option at all and subsequently no in app option to cancel the subscription.

You’re right that at the moment the app doesn’t have a menu or the option to change proficiency level, this is something we’re already working on and plan to release soon. The pronunciation score is real: we use a speech analysis model to compare your speech with native patterns, it’s not random. The trial and subscription flow is handled directly through the App Store, and you can always cancel from there. We really appreciate you pointing this out - it helps us improve faster.

Not worth it

There aren't any practice phrases. You're just paying to have the app highlight your speech in red green or yellow, with no real tips on how to improve

Possible improvements

The app is really helpful, the only drawback is I there is no previous and next button for when i want to skip a word I already know how to pronounce and move to the next, or I decide to go back to a word I previously learnt. Another improvement will be to add the English meaning of a french word on the dashboard that pops-up after a user finishes pronouncing a word.
