Can’t open local parquet files
I was hoping things had improved, but it seems not. Opened the app, dropped a .parquet file where it said, got 3 alerts about a duckdb plugin which I accepted, then the viewer window opened with an “Unable to open this Parquet data” error.
Simply does not work
It does not work for parquet files with 16 records and not record. I tested with a very simple schema
Unusable
Seems hastily put together. Cant open multiple files. UI is pretty but unintuitive. Most every feature is hidden in the pay-wall. Terrible all around.
Can't open parquet files written by pyarrow
I can't get this app to work. It won't open parquet files written by pandas --> pyarrow --> parquet.
There also seems to be some sort of subscription model which isn't obvious from the app store.

Virtually unusable without purchasing credits to run queries
This has to be a joke. The screenshots don't show this, but you have to buy credits/subscription to run queries. If you don't pay, you can only page through your file and 100 records at a time. Given that the parquet format is specifically used for large volumes of data, it renders the free version of the app useless.
