I don’t know how to play
It’s cool but I also have no idea how to make the words do what I want. Its tutorial is solid but also taught me nothing. Good game.
Needs more puzzles
Fun and unique challenge, but the overall experience is boring. Once you complete the daily puzzle there is nothing to do. This app needs an archive of old puzzles to make it more interesting.
Hard, but satisfying
Traditional cryptics are pretty brutal to learn - this game simplifies the approach also adding satisfying swipe/click combinations to reach the solution. It takes a long time to really get good at these kinds of puzzles. After you do the tutorial and a couple dozen or so daily puzzles - the easier ones… you’ll start to solve in around a minute or so - I think my fastest easy one was 17 seconds now after playing since the web version came a few weeks ago - the harder ones will still take a few minutes - dont be afraid to start brute forcing with hints and checks if you get stuck. Just keep on it - and as you get better it’s significantly more satisfying.

Fun but very difficult
This is not an easy word game and really makes you think. The puzzles are cleverly made and feel very rewarding if you can complete a puzzle without any hints. Takes a minute to get used to how the game works. Recommend watching the Parseword 101 videos.
Ok, I’m hooked
I Googled to see what other games this developer had, found this gem. Great tutorials, takes thinking ahead to find goal word.

want to like the game and enjoy cryptics but the usability is very unfriendly. it’s essentially a game of working out how to interact with each word
Not like Wordle at all
If you thought this was some cool follow up to Wordle then keep looking. This is a super confusing, unintuitive puzzle game. I found it frustrating and difficult to navigate. The interface is clunky and awkward. I did the tutorials twice and a couple games on Learn mode and developed no understanding or interest in continuing. I don’t want to become the person who finds this game interesting and fun. DELETE and buh bye.

Very fun wordplay game!
This and Minute Cryptic are my 2 go-to daily brainteaser apps! The only reason this review isn’t a 5-star is because I need an archive of older puzzles! (FAQ says it’s in the works)
Great fun
For anyone that loves cryptic crosswords this is a really entertaining. If you don’t know much about cryptic clues this is a good introduction!

It’s a little weird that there’s no reviews for this game at all. Either this is some malicious malware, or a very new app and I just so happened to stumble upon it. But if it is malware, it’s extremely well disguised. The app is fast and snappy and doesn’t waste your time with drawn out animations, the tutorial is concise yet expansive, and the puzzles so far have been fun. Hopefully the puzzles that continue to get added are put in some kind of repository to visit at any time rather than disappearing forever, as right now I have no reason to use the app for more than two minutes a day.

Worth the ten minutes it takes to get the hang of it
This is a really smart way to do a daily cryptic clue. The interface is inevitably confusing initially but really only takes a few minutes of working through the tutorial and working examples to get the hang of.
Just like Wordle, I already want more than one a day. But that is the beauty of the design.
