Excellent resource for artists
It’s an excellent resource for artists, especially ones who struggle with perspective. You can use it to build as many scenes as you want and position the camera for it. Pair this with the app called Poseit(also free) and you have anything you could need in terms of resources.
I love that there’s no ads and it’s completely free to use, I also love that it auto saves and the interface is simple to use.
The only issue I have with this is that when you move the camera and let go of the screen, the perspective moves a bit and it can make positioning the camera hard, I’d appreciate it if you fixed that.
Overall, I’m glad that this exists, thanks creator(s)

Excellent Modelling Tool!
I was looking for a simple and easy-to-use voxel modelling app, and this one checks every box for me!
This is perfect
This game actually is amazing it’s the best game I ever seen that has anything to do with Pixel art
I want to love this so bad but…
it has some difficult flaws. I really have been enjoying this app which is why I’m giving 4 stars, but I’ve run into a few frustrating issues.
Positives:
- Easy to place/destroy/change colors
- Easy grid button
- Nice layer placement option
Negatives:
- The camera and the camera controls (biggest negative for me). The camera locks to a particular spot so if you are trying to build a house for example, you might zoom a little too far out and then lock yourself out of the house. Then you have to wrangle the camera again to get back to the entrance of your building to go inside. Overall the movement just feels clunky.
- The lighting can be dark at times, even with adjusting brightness on my phone
Other than those two things this app is awesome. I’d give 4.5 stars if possible.

Excellent!
Great voxel design. Easy and logical menus make creating objects fun. Still one of the best! This is the best voxel editors using touch screen interface.

Almost Perfect
I am working on an animation and needed something to design the sets with. I tried CAD programs and a home design/blueprint app, but they were too hard to use and overqualified for my purposes. I tried a Minecraft knockoff, and realized I had to mine my materials in order to build, so I deleted that too.
This app, on the other hand, is beautiful. The controls are simple; it took me only ten minutes to learn. I like the grid on/off feature, so I can see exactly where I’m placing the blocks. The light source feature is useful for illuminating small details on a particular side of the object. The photo option is amazing for getting camera angles. I haven’t used it yet, but I also appreciate the fact that you can export the project into three different formats (which I may do in the future, if it suits my needs).
Moving around is a little clunky, but that’s probably because I’m trying to maneuver on the inside of a hollow object (I’ll glitch through walls, and suddenly speed out of the building’s offices at times); but if I try hard enough, I can get the camera angles I want.
I do wish there were a color wheel/spectrum where you can custom-make your own colors, as opposed to using a palette; but I’m going to be tracing over everything anyway, so it’s not that big of a deal.
Overall, it is a wonderful app; and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Amazing app
I was struggling to find a good 3D pixel art maker, but now this is an amazing app.
The controls are easy to learn, the blocks aren’t complicated at all and the fact that this is free is definitely the icing on the cake for me.

Work Getting Destroyed
I love Particubes and have been using it for 3+ years but recently the app has started glitching and has ruined all my new creations. When you close the app, and go back into it later, half your design is missing, or just a head, if that, of a character you had finished designing. Just wanted to let the creators know that this is happening, and hope they can get it fixed. Thanks.

Has promise but has major bugs
As an app that supposedly is compatible with MagicaVoxel this looked like it had a lot of promise for creating voxel models on the fly. The toolset is simple but intuitive and things were going pretty well... until suddenly any model I made became sliced and had large portions deleted for seemingly no reason! Needless to say this was quite frustrating and I haven’t been able to use the app since.

Great but hasnt updated for a year
This is a great 3d voxel app but its lacking tools like, select, textures, blur, glowing material, different sized blocks, and i feel like you have given up on this app as you haven't changed it in a year.

Hi! Thank you for your comment! Sorry for the lack of updates. We’ve been very busy this past year working on an new app based on the same engine, more info on particubes.com. That being said, we’ll keep that one in place and update it one or twice. Adding iCloud support and other small improvements. Textures and materials will never be supported though, it’s possible to export your creations into .vox to do that in Magicavoxel or in other softwares. Thank you!
Need some work
a good app, but the tools and colors are a bit lacking. Maybe add a way to draw lines and choose a certain color?
I love this app
I love how easy and fun this app is to use. There are a few things that can be added to make the experience better but overall I’m super happy with it and I’m planning on using the models I make for personal projects 👌🏾
Great tool, but is rather simplistic.
This is the best voxel editor for mobile I’ve found. My only complaint is a lack of some features, namely: copy and paste and way to realign the mirror tool. Great app!
Best Voxel App
This is the most user-friendly and polished voxel app on the App Store. It’s still in development so look forwarding to more features! Export to magicavoxel needs a way to preserve the colors or export a palette alongside. If dev is reading then please add spritesheet export, so we can export PNGs of different angles for sprites.
