5 Crowns. 5 Stars.

We use Party Animals to score 5 Crowns. It’s very good.

Is not working on iPhone

I have tried downloading the software several times. I can pick a game and add one player, but the highlighted green/teal add player button does not work to add additional players. I have tried several of the games but get the same result. I have seen the software work on a friend’s phone and it was fun and easy to use, so am wondering if the latest version has a bug? I am using an iPhone 14 Pro version 17.5.1

Update: Developer Daniel contacted me and he has fixed the software. It’s working perfectly on my phone now. I recommend this
Scorekeeping app as it is great when playing with more than two people.

Some suggestions

EDIT (11/142023)
Thanks for the update, which I noticed and installed a few days ago! Appreciate that I can now delete old players and while I felt $3.99 was about double what it was worth to remove the ads I took the plunge and paid the fee! Upping my review by a star down to the quick responsiveness by the developer!

Been using this for years, about 3 months ago it started getting updated again out of nowhere. Loads of ads now! Suggestions: 1. Give me an option to remove ads for years I haven’t had to deal with them. I am willing to pay $1.99 to remove them ☺️ 2. It would be good to be able to delete (or hide) a player from my player list, I can delete old games but not old players. I would like this supported! 3. Add support for Yahtzee!

Response from developer

Thanks for your review, and your longstanding use of the unlimited free trial version of the application. Recently, the ability to block ads on the scoresheet screen (both banners and interstitials) was added for those who have decided this is the app for them long-term. As for Yahtzee, I have no plans to add support for this game type, as the scoring is fundamentally different from the currently supported games. Finally, the ability to delete players was recently added as well, with the same (swipe-left) gesture. This won't delete them from the games they were in, but it will clean up your player list. As you noted, you can independently delete games, so players can now be completely removed, if that's the goal.
