Yes it works
To get Party Pulse to dance to the music your playing is you have to grant access to your MACs microphone in system prefrences, securlityl and lprilvacy, microphone. Make sure Party Pulse is in the list of apps accessing the microphone ant that it ia cheked. Restart Party Pulse and now it should easaly. hear and dance to the music your playing. Enjoy

It Doesn't Work
I'm not sure what I expected from an app with only one one star rating but thought it would be at least something. There was zero response to my music and three buttons, that I have no clue what they do because they are unresponsive. Plus there's not explanation for anything.

Get in the (hamster) mood
Another reviewer pointed out the benefits for his pigeons - well it’s great for hamsters too. Hamsters are solitary beasts with occasional human contact. But Party Pulse adds another dimension to hamster care. Our tiny pet called Spot loves looking at Party Pulse when we’re bopping in the kitchen, joining in with his little hamster paws and inquisitive twitching nose. More cuteness more! All Stratospherix apps are beautiful AND useful. Thank you.

Really turned my life around...
I live alone with my racing pigeons in Wales and have felt very isolated during the COVID-19 pandemic. I am far away from friends, who live in the closest village 10miles away, so have relied heavily on virtual entertainment over the numerous lockdowns.
I downloaded this app for one of the pigeon’s birthday party and it was the best night we had since the pandemic started! Honestly... I put it all down to this app for such a fun night. You can change the displays on the screen - as well as the emojis/colours you want - meaning the vibe of the party is easily manipulated. You always have those slow beginnings and ends to parties which differ to the heavy sesh in the middle and finding those pivotal moments can be hard, BUT THIS APP JUST. MOULDS. TO. THE. PARTY! My pigeons loved it so much and since the app can mould to any vibe, I have even started using it in their pens whenever they are feeling anxious or stressed. I simply connect the app to my music and play classical music or calming sounds to put them at ease. After doing this on routine for my little pidgies I ended up getting mixed into the routine myself! Now, I have a separate device for the pigeons with the app installed and another for myself so that I can meditate/work/shower to some music in visual form.
I do not apologise for the story because this has been so important in my life over the pandemic and I cannot wait to come out of this feeling like my life has been turned around. I am really interested to see if this alters the performance of my racing pigeons - hopefully we can win multiple races in the local pigeon festivals when they are allowed to start again!
