NO VALIDA CREDENCIAL ESTAFA

FAQ

What is the Pasaporte Digital Peregrino app?

The Pasaporte Digital Peregrino app is a mobile application designed to accompany pilgrims on their journey. It offers a digital alternative to the traditional paper pilgrim credential, allowing users to collect digital stamps for their progress.

How does the app work?

Instead of physical stamps, pilgrims can use their mobile device to obtain digital stamps. This eliminates the need for personal contact when stamping credentials, which is particularly relevant for health and safety reasons. The app records the location, date, and time of each stamp obtained.

Does this app replace the official Compostela?

No, this application is not official and is not affiliated with any governmental entity. The certificates issued are specific to the application and do not grant the right to obtain the Compostela. It is intended to complement, not replace, the official paper credential.

What are the requirements to get a digital certificate?

To validate the digital passport and obtain a digital certificate, pilgrims must reach Santiago. If walking, the last 100km must be completed consecutively with two stamps per day. For cycling, 200km must be completed consecutively with two stamps per day.

Is this app compatible with all devices?

The description implies widespread mobile device usage, suggesting broad compatibility. However, specific operating system requirements are not detailed. It is designed for use by the majority of the world's population with mobile devices.
