AI slop?
It seems that someone forced chat gpt to read some critical care books and produce questions. Multiple typos, convoluted wording, and incorrect explanations/definitions. Fine for a quick assessment with the free trial. But don’t rely on this. Questions are often repeated and the test bank seems very small.

Simple but helpful app
Overall it’s a nice app, but I wish there was a better way to focus on certain pieces of the exam. Let’s say you wanted to work on cardiac questions, you could select cardiac modules and go from there. It’s all just one BIG or little set of questions and you hope to get some cardiac questions mixed in.

Not the app to get
I hoped this app would have a lot of questions to really hone in the CCRN knowledge. What I got instead was an app that repeated questions and overly explained basics concepts. Why should a CCRN question say “rhabdomyolysis also known as “rhabdo” can cause high potassium or hyperkalemia”? If someone is taking this exam they are well aware of this information. Another question had Cushing’s disease and cortisol in the question but the answers all pertained to Cushing’s Triad. What’s even worse is you can’t even report a question for review. I wish I could get my money back.

Impossible to get app support. Unable to report a typo/mistake in the rationale. Can not send a request through Mastrapi.com.

Inaccurate
Questions are inaccurate and some completely false. Do not waste your money! Trying to get a refund, thankfully only selected the monthly option.

This app is unreliable. Asked a question about Cushing’s with a prompt that talked about high cortisol….

Paid $100 for the “lifetime access” and a whopping FOUR (4) questions are loaded. After restarting the app, trying to restart quizzes, and restarting my phone - the app remains frozen at 4 questions. Don’t waste your money. The app is worthless.
Questionable Quality
App is easy to use, but the content is of questionable quality. Many questions are poorly worded, or incomplete. Others are flat out false, so I recommend you spend your money on a higher quality product than to purchase this app. I’ve reported many questions, but they never respond. They just want your money.

I think I got a dud of a subscription
I’m paying money for a subscription to an app that doesn’t work. I get the same three questions every time I open the app, and when I try to do anything else it freezes the app. It’s garbage, I’m cancelling and hope I can request a refund for what I’ve paid.
Easy to use but hard to trust
App is simple and intuitive to use. It’s responsive and easy to read and answer questions. But the question bank seems small. I’ve gotten the same question twice in a 20 question quiz. Twice now I’ve had the ‘daily question’ be wrong because the task was to interpret an ABG and to differentiate between partially compensated and uncompensated but the question only contained a pH and a CO2. The rationale told me to look at the HCO3 that of course wasn’t listed in the question. Am I meant to calculate the HCO3 from the other two numbers myself? If so, put that in the rationale.

Expensive for what it is
Multiple questions that don’t make sense, are poorly worded, and just plainly incorrect. Save your money, definitely not worth the monthly cost!

Hello, I have been trying to reach someone since I took my exam in March so that I can unsubscribe and I never hear back. I am losing money for no reason, please help.
Not even able to run the app
After activate the trial. I am not able to run the app, it doesn’t have even iPad support.
Statistics
The statistics don’t update in real time and I feel like it shows the same questions frequently even though I’m not using the setting to re-take missed questions.
I really want it to work
I paid $99 for the lifetime fee. I’ve tried to reach out several times via email. No response. First the APP would not open off WIFI. No response. Then I kept reloading and now I get the same 20 questions for the past two weeks. The random questions are different but that is 40 questions. So in all only 65 questions in the ADULT CCRN for $99?. So. You just responded that you answer all responses if I use the contact us button on your APP. I have tried that several times already. I checked trash, junk and inbox. Nothing from your site. Hey.

App doesn’t even load/open half the time

It just won’t load anymore. It was great while I used a trial version. Then I bought a life-time version and now it’s not working. I want a refund
Great app for studying but be careful
Great content, however it seems that for a good deal of questions the wrong answer is marked as correct. For instance in a question about HHS vs DKA I selected the answer saying the difference is that there is no ketogenesis in HHS. It then told me I selected the wrong answer and that the difference was that HHS was due to a “total lack of insulin”. The rationale that then was given at the bottom told me that my answer was right. Seems to happen 1/15 times when I get a wrong answer that I actually had it right, but the app has the wrong answer marked as correct.

This is my 1st time taking a CCRN test and found myself requiring more knowledge and skills. This is a good way to gain knowledge and find rationales.
