no offline usage
so it is useless if don’t have access to my self hosted server. very disappointing!

Grundsätzlich eine gute Ergänzung für das iPhone, allerdings hat die App leider viele schwächen.
- Warum kann die App nicht Offline verwendet werden?
- Warum kann ich keine Ordner auswählen oder anlegen?
- Warum kann ich keine benutzerdefinierten Felder anzeigen oder anlegen?
- Was ist mit der iPad Version, die iPhone Version ist etwas unhandlich auf einem iPad?
Insgesamt ist die App etwas lieblos entwickelt worden und hätte noch viel Luft nach oben.
Und dann fehlt noch die Unterstützung für Passkeys! Immer mehr Dienste verlangen nicht mehr nach dem alten Passwort sondern nach Passkeys, deshalb benötige ich hierfür eine weitere App.

Very few cybersec companies dare to have a project open-sourced and even less to sustain the commitment for years without rug pulling. I keep running into this issue where I can’t retrieve my database from my hosted server. It’s really irritating to not have my passwords sync.

App does’nt work on iOS and iPadOS since a month now. The New password is not fetch on the app since the latest iOS update.

Très bonne appli jusqu’à la dernière version. Plus rien ne semble fonctionner, j’ai beau connecter cette dernière avec mon téléphone mais rien n’y’ fait. Je ne vois aucun mot de passe mais je peux bien en créer

Fine on iOS but very bad on iPadOS
Passbolt is the best system for my requirements with just some minor limitations. I would love to move passwords to folders on iOS but it is fine doing that via the Web App. Normally this would be 4 or 5 stars for me, but I was asked to review the app on iPadOS and there it is just an iOS App with no support for the larger screen at all, this needs to change.

Not great, not bad.
Works okay enough, but main annoying part is I have to enter passphrase every time.

I REALLY wanted to love the iOS app becuase the web interface and browser extensions are so strong. The iOS app is missing the suggestive auto fill functionally that the native iCloud passwords have. I presently use Bitwarden and it had the desired auto fill functionality of the iOS app but not the same interface that Passbolt’s browser extensions offer. I was a LastPass client and really enjoyed the same functionally that Passbolt has with the icon in the text boxes for auto fill on desktop browsers. Otherwise, I really love Passbolt (self-hosted) and I look forward to the iOS app hopefully maturing and I could make a complete switch to Passbolt both personally and organizationally.
