Changes in 1.1.2 • Further strengthened protection for your master password: the encryption key is now derived using a computationally intensive method (PBKDF2), making attacks against a stolen database significantly harder • The iteration count is automatically calibrated to your device's performance • Existing databases keep working as before — the upgrade happens automatically the next time you save • Passkeys created with PassFinder now reliably work on your other devices too (e.g. Mac and iPhone), not just the device they were created on • Improved protection when syncing via iCloud: changes on one device are no longer accidentally overwritten if another device hasn't synced yet • Deleted passkeys now reliably stay deleted after syncing, instead of occasionally reappearing • The AutoFill extension now shows a clear confirmation after activation instead of an empty list • Fixed poor contrast for contacts with passkeys in Dark Mode, where the background pattern was too light for the white text Note: Older versions of PassFinder! may no longer be able to open files saved with 1.1.2.
