PassFirst: Section 8 Checklist

ROOM-BY-ROOM SELF-CHECK Create a property, add the unit, choose the inspection type, and work through the checklist at your own pace. PassFirst keeps the finding connected to your repair list. REPAIRS AND PHOTO EVIDENCE Track each repair as Open, In progress, or Completed. Add before and after photos so you have a clear record of what changed. Items are organized using the official severity information in the bundled NSPIRE reference data. PassFirst does not create its own inspection score or predict whether a unit will pass. OFFICIAL NOTICES AND REINSPECTION If your PHA sends an official notice, enter the notice details, cited items, responsibility, the deadline you were given, and the reinspection date. Reminder notifications are created only from dates you confirm. A self-check finding by itself never creates an official deadline. REPORTS AND EXPORTS Create: • Readiness reports • Repair / evidence reports with before-and-after photos • Notice-response packets • Evidence ZIP files with records and photos A limited report preview and plain-text repair-list sharing are free. Full document generation requires either a one-inspection document unlock or an active PassFirst Pro subscription. The walkthrough, repair tracking, photos, official-notice tracking, and reminders remain available without a document purchase. NSPIRE AND HQS PassFirst's walkthrough uses HUD NSPIRE reference data for HCV inspections. If your housing authority is still using HQS or another approved method, follow the requirements in your PHA's notice and current guidance. PRIVACY Your property details, inspection records, notes, photos, repairs, notices, and generated documents are stored on your iPhone and are not uploaded as part of the inspection workflow. No account is required, and there is no third-party advertising or analytics SDK. Settings can contact the developer's server to load More Apps and current support contact information.
