Be aware this App collects personal information and uploads it to its database. Very scary.
Doesn’t work
Tried it on Aus passport and app gives error when attempting to download the data. I know my passport is scannable because it works with other nfc scanning apps on this device
Scans but there’s an error
Reading the MRZ works. Detecting the NFC scanner works. Retrieving the data results in an error. “An error occurred while downloading the data.”
Highly difficult
Minimal directions and could not complete the verification of NFC.

My Australian passport definitely has a chip because it was refreshed only last year, but this app can’t scan it.

Never scanned any chip always an error and said what the camera saw. My eyes can do that. Useless!

Terms and conditions doesn’t say which data is being collected. I just refuse to agree and will delete the app shortly. It looks good though.
