Didn’t export jpg as promised
The app is quick and easy to use. Although after purchasing, I still couldn’t export my Visa photo. But I figured out I had to close the app and reopen it for it to acknowledge that I made a purchase. That’s not so bad. But when I chose EXPORT, so I could get my photo in JPEG as required by Vietnam, the app still exported it as a PNG file. Again fine, because I can use Canva to export it to JPEG. Just a lot of extra work for a 9.99 one time use app. For that amount of money it should work perfectly right away.

Signed Up for Membership & Can’t Download Picture
So I signed up for a membership so I could create a passport photo for my renewal process. However, after downloading set app and buying the weekly membership, I tried to export my photo, and I was unable to do so. There is no contact information or people to reach out to if you’re having issues with the app which doesn’t make sense to me so I’m thinking this app was a scam. That sucks because now I’m out $10. Do better.

Numerous issues with its features and functionality
I had a terrible experience with the Passsport Photo app due to numerous issues with its features and functionality. I signed up for what was supposed to be a free trial, but I couldn’t access the necessary features. I couldn’t upload all the photos needed to create the image I wanted. Furthermore, when I finally managed to upload a photo, the background removal feature didn’t work as expected, rendering the app useless for my needs. As a result, I ended up using a different app, but I still got charged and did not receive a refund. I would recommend trying Picsart instead, as it is a more reliable app that doesn’t lag or freeze like Passsport Photo does.

Good app but misleading free trial
The app's "free trial" is misleading. Once you subscribe, there is no option to cancel, making the trial effectively a forced subscription. This lack of transparency is dishonest and creates a frustrating user experience.
Passport Photo Rejected
The app claims to verify the photo, but my passport renewal was rejected for a “grainy” photo. Cost me time and money.
No cancelation option
I had this app only for one day under trial period. Now I am trying to cancel the subscription but cancellation option is no where to be found.
