About

Passport Stamps turns your travels into a living map — and lets the people who traveled with you help fill it in, together, in real time. A map you actually own Every pin, every note, every photo lives in your own private iCloud — not our servers. There are no ad trackers, no account to create, and no company database standing between you and your travel history. Uninstall the app and your data is still exactly where it's always been: your iCloud. Real collaboration, not just a shared view Create a trip map and invite your family. You choose who can edit and who can only view, so a partner can add places while the grandparents just follow along. Edit the same trip at once and Passport Stamps detects the conflict and lets you resolve it, instead of silently dropping someone's changes. Sharing is free, for as many people as you like — there's no hosting bill standing between you and your family's map. Built for how you actually travel • Tap a country or state right on the map to mark it — real borders, not just a pin • Track status per place: visited, want to go, lived there, or going again • Attach photos and notes to any location • Curated checklists for U.S. National Parks and UNESCO World Heritage Sites • Coverage stats: percent of the world visited, countries, states, and continents, counted automatically • "Year in Passport": a personal annual recap of everywhere you went • Export your map, or your stats, as a shareable image or PDF Designed like a well-loved passport A warm, vintage-air-travel look — parchment tones, airmail navy, postage-stamp motifs — with a full dark mode for night flights. Passport Stamps runs everywhere your family does — iPhone, iPad, and Mac — so the map stays in sync no matter whose device someone opens it on.

What's New in Passport Stamps

1.3.0

October 25, 2026

New: NPS Complete • An optional add-on checklist of every National Park Service site: 429 parks, monuments, historic sites, seashores and trails. Find it in Stats → Curated Collections. It's a one-time purchase, shared with your family, available once you've unlocked the app. The 63 national parks and 108 UNESCO sites you already have stay included. More ways to fill your map • Pick every country you've been to from one list. It opens the first time you start the app, and any time from Settings → Add Countries in Bulk. • Stats can show one trip map at a time. It still starts on all your maps. • Settings → Purchases shows what you own and the collection packs on sale. Restore Purchases now tells you what it found. More stamps • Your passport card shows stamps from your newest cities and landmarks, and a shared trip map's postcard uses one as its postage stamp. • Museums, wineries, zoos, beaches, castles and more get a stamp that matches what they are. A fairer trial • The free trial now lasts at least 14 days, and until you've added 5 places, so a trial that starts before a trip doesn't run out before you've used it. Cleaner maps • Deleting the last city in a state or country offers to remove the state or country the app added with it. • Deleting a trip map and keeping its places no longer leaves repeats of places you already have, and Settings → Find Repeated Places merges repeats you already have, after you review them. • A shared trip map no longer turns up twice on your other devices, and copies that already did are folded back into one. Fixes • Take Photo no longer closes the screen you opened it from, so a place you're adding isn't lost. • Photo Memories now shows your photos above places on the map. • Restoring a backup no longer fails when it holds repeated places, and leaves out maps others shared with you. • Shared maps handle leaving, discarding, switching iCloud accounts and managing who has access more reliably. • The iCloud Sync Issue banner no longer pushes the map up and down. • Changing who can edit a shared map shows progress while it saves. • On iPad, quitting with a place's details open no longer leaves space reserved the next time you launch. • On iPad at large text sizes, the sidebar is wider and its rows and filters no longer get cut off. • The Globe opens on where most of your places are, and its title stays readable. • Print Studio's crop map shows the same status pins as the preview. • Adding a place by tapping the map keeps an Add button at the top while you fill in more details. • The keyboard no longer hides the button when you delete all data or reset your map. • Many smaller fixes and polish.
