Overall = 0.6 × social fit + 0.4 × livability. Personalization then adjusts for budget fit, travel experience, English needs, climate, lifestyle, goal alignment, culture preferences, religion tolerance, and hard dealbreakers. Every score is derived, not editorial. You can see why a country ranks where it does on its detail page. DATA HONESTY Every country page cites its sources. Where data is thin or ambiguous, we say so. Where our estimate could be off (e.g., local dating norms vary by city), we flag that too. Research updated April 2026. PRIVACY The research side (quiz, shortlist, trips) is entirely device-local — never sent off your phone. Community is opt-in and account-based: if you use it, we store the minimum needed to run profiles, presence, chats, DMs, reports, blocks, and push notifications.
