I have used this for 14 years
It has kept me organized through many hospitals, clinics, SNFs, agencies, organizations, iPhones, iPads, computers, apps, websites, and life.
Longtime user
I have used DataVault for at least 10 years and probably longer. I’ve found it to be very flexible in terms of storing data- I particularly appreciate the notes section in each record. I love that it easily syncs between all my devices and has transferred easily during multiple upgrades to iPhones, iPads, and Windows computers.

Great tool for passwords
I have been using this app for over 8 years, really helpful keeping my password safe. It looks as if they have stopped doing improvements over six years ago to the app. The only thing I would like to see more of is updated tags for the categories.
excellent app and fast responding service
very happy with the app since years. support is professional and very fast acting. best pw manager ever used.
Long time user and still love this!
I have been using Data Vault for a very long time and still love it!

Simple and best

Best Password App
I have been using this app on my iPhone and MacBook Pro to protect my passwords since the beginning and it has never let me down. I tried some other ones and they either were cumbersome to use or you had to pay a subscription or both. DataVault is user friendly with no subscription. I sync my data through the cloud to keep things up-to-date on the go and sync over WIFI with my wife. I also sync over WIFI with my son who lives 1,900 miles away whenever I see him because he is the executer of our estate and it is critical that he has all of our current information available in case it is ever needed. The creators of DataVault are also extremely responsive. A few weeks ago I received a pop-up on my Mac saying the app wouldn't be available on future OS updates as Apple is migrating away from Intel based support. So I reached out to Ascendo (DataVault's developer) and asked them if they were aware and were planning on an update. I received a response a few hours later saying they were aware and working on an update. Then about a week or so later I received a personal follow-up email informing me the update was complete and available in Apple's App Store. DataVault is absolutely the best!

Great App
This is a great app that I have used for several years.
Have it on my iMac and iPhone and they sync easily.
They have top rate support if any questions or issues.
Great to have a non-subscription app!

Still outstanding!
Outstanding app! Far more capable than Apple passwords for storing account details beyond simple passcodes. Works across Apple devices and even has a super-convenient Apple Watch app that lets you look up details without needing to access your phone. It’s been my go-to for years and is still being active supported by the developer. Freshly updated for Apple silicon on Mac too, as of May 2026. Highly recommend!

Excellent Password App
I have been using this app on phones and laptops for many years. Never had any issues with synchronization or data corruption. I was frazzled a little bit on my Mac air laptop when OS said would not support after late 2027 or 2028. Checked with Ascendo support & they were about to roll out a new version. That did so I’m all set. Great app that does not require a subscription or cloud storage.

Awesom support team
Recently I contacted Ascendo about software changes coming and if I was going to get an update or loose the app. They responded immediately. They let me know they were aware of the situation and was working on the problem. Couple of weeks later I get a follow up email station the update was ready and check my app to see if it got downloaded. It did. I was so impressed my there communication with me. This seems to be a fading and rare behavior with company. I will stick by any company that has good customer service and treats me like I matter. Thank you Ascendo, I appreciate your service

Great app
We have been using this app for over 10 years. It is great across all our phones and computers. Making sure everything is up dated on all devises. Encrypted data and don’t have to pay monthly. Five stars.
First Rate PW Manager
I’m a long time user. This is a great database for managing passwords or anything else you want encrypted. The app is easy to use, stable, and works seamlessly across smartphone and desktop devices. Ascendo’s tech support is responsive and absolutely professional.
Cream of the crop
I have been using this app for years and years and it is invaluable to me!! It is well laid out and has many options for you to record your data. And it’s a ONE time purchase, no monthly fees just a one time payment.
Makes life easier
I have used this app for many years now. The data has transferred through 3-4 phone upgrades. I am a business owner so I have tons of usernames and passwords. It is not possible to remember them all. This is a safe way for me to always have my passwords at my finger tips so I can run my life and business efficiently.

I have been using this app for 16 years and it has never failed me. Highly recommend!
Fantastic
Have been using this for 12 years and cannot manage without it. It’s on my iPad and I wish I could print out the list. The share button only lets me print an individual item.
This grows on you!
Basic and simple with enough tools to do what you need to do. Had it for quite a while and I haven't found anything else that has made me switch.
Best app ever
The best password manager I’ve used. And I’ve tried a bunch. Syncing across my devices works. The app generates passwords pretty easily. Also at syncs between devices. I wish it had more icons or I could add my own and that I could remember the difference between an item and a login .
