I love unique offerings

This is unique, not only does it offer cool artists style filters (DaVinci/Van Gogh etc) -but then you can adjust those filters
and add more levels of line work depth,
blur etc. I only wish more apps could offer what PicsArt has, being able to edit and remove the areas where you add effects. I dont mind though.
Cos Im still Photoshop all the way
so i can do some layers and edit more there if and when necessary or use PicsArt if not available.
, . but whats great is the creativity these filters inspire, they often pop out details
I wasn't expecting , particularly in what I've been experimenting with,
-aka photographing lately, shadow, light, skies, sunsets, sunrises and lately our human skies have all been almost scifi amazing!
This app has some creative inspiring capabilities, it can move you into new ideas and creative visions!

Crashes

Free version works - but none of the artist styles work in the paid version. The app crashes upon trying to use any of them.

Awful images

I tried many different professional images, even paid for the full package in case the artists’ styles were better. The only thing that produces a usable image of any kind are the “classic” styles..which are a dime a dozen in other apps. This transformed my images to fuzzy, fat, unrecognizable crap.

Don’t get

Paid to unlock the artist apps, the whole point I wanted it. And now there is a bug that closes it out each time I press it.

Won’t stay on Artist’s Style

As soon as I purchased the app the bug appeared. Every time a select an artist’s style it closes the app. My phone is up to date as well as the app. Everything else works but as soon as make a choice to select a style it closes. Which was the pro Mary reason I chose this app in the first place

Great tool

This really paints your good-to-excellent pictures in a good light. Some of my camera shots are awesome paintings. I have been enjoying the output and I am starting to put them up on my blog BlueKitten.vip

Great app

I use this app to load my own photos and apply my style of painting. I then use it as a reference to help with values and such as I actually paint the image on canvas. Great little app. Recently it has been crashing when I try to load an artist filter to it. Styles seem to work but the Artist ones are not.

I am aware of this crash introduced in iOS14 and am working to provide a fix. It appears to be due to reduced GPU and Neural Engine memory available to the app on devices newer than an iPhone 11. I have submitted a request to Apple and hope to hear back from them regarding a solution (or hopefully a new iOS update that fixes the issue instead).

Ease of use

Easy and has what is needed to adjust styles, unlike some similar apps. The store description says there is Iap to unlock full features, but there is no place to do the purchase in the app, so I deducted one star until I get a clarification.
Edit. The dev contacted me to say that the Iap is activated when you want to unlock an artist, so I added the star. Second edit. I don’t see a revert button to remove a style or artist. Also, when I clicked on one of the last artists on the right hand side, I got an error message saying this filter is not supported on this device. I have an iPad Pro 9.7 128 fb retina etc, should be good enough for an art app.

Thanks for the feedback. There is no special button in the app to unlock all features since I did not want people to pay for features that they don’t intend on using. The purchase prompt will show up on any action that requires a purchase to unlock. Currently you can do this by any of the following methods: 1. Clicking on a locked artist in the artist section. 2. Trying to add more than one of your own style images in the style section. I am open to making changes though so please let me know if you think there is a better way for handling purchases. You can reach me any time at pastiche.ios@gmail.com Second Edit: Artist presets can not be removed. You can remove style images you have added by pressing and holding on the style image. It might be helpful to skim through the user guide linked on the Apps home page. Regarding the filter that fails to run: I believe you are referring to the watercolor filter? This is due to an internal compiler error in Apples Metal compiler. I have submitted a bug report to Apple and am simultaneously working on a work-around.

Unique product

I just started using the app and I’m already very impressed with it. There’s nothing like it in the App Store that allows users to add custom filters. Looking forward to seeing more features in the future!
