About
Patch: Skincare Decoder helps you understand what you put on your skin. It's free for everyone, always.
Search any skincare or makeup product and Patch breaks down its ingredients in plain language. See which ones are commonly linked to clogged pores, which are possible irritants or fungal-acne triggers and how a formula stacks up when you layer it with the rest of your routine. Then log how your skin actually reacted, so over time Patch learns your patterns instead of guessing.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
1. Check a product
Look up a product and see its ingredients sorted by how likely they are to clog pores, with the strength of the evidence shown honestly. Rinse-off products are treated differently from leave-on ones, because what you wash off matters less.
2. Track what works
Log a product as worked, did not work or unclear, add a note and build a personal history. When you check a new product, Patch points out ingredients it shares with products that didn't work for you.
3. Check your routine
Add the products you layer and Patch shows what happens when you use them together, including real conflicts, pilling and buildup. It also tells you when a combination is fine, so you can stop worrying about the myths.
4. Share your skin diary
Turn your history into a clean PDF of everything you've tried and how your skin reacted, ready to share with your dermatologist, esthetician or skin bestie.
5. Stay private
Patch never shows your real name. You get an anonymous handle and your history is yours to clear or delete at any time.
FREE FOR EVERYONE
Skin health should be free for all. Every feature in Patch is free, with no subscriptions, trials or paywalls.
HONEST BY DESIGN
Skin is personal and the science is often messy. Patch shows the strength of the evidence, avoids scare tactics and treats your own logged history as the best signal of what suits you.
Patch provides general information only. It is not medical or dermatological advice. Always patch-test new products and seek professional care for any skin concern.
