About

Patchlume is a node-graph visual synthesizer — patch generators, effects, and combiners together like an Eurorack rack, but for graphics instead of audio. Build a live visual patch from generators (plasma, fractals, particles, kaleidoscopes, your camera, photos/video, text), route it through effects (blur, feedback, glitch, VHS, strobe, chromatic aberration, and more), and mix multiple sources together with blend, mask, wipe, and displace combiners. Everything can react live: • Audio-reactive — bass, mid, treble, beat detection, and overall energy from the mic or a track • MIDI — CC and Note input from any USB or Bluetooth MIDI device • Face-aware camera modes — automatic close-ups, multi-face grids, and a follow-spot that tracks a face live • Macros — group any parameters onto simple faders for live performance • Auto Director — an unattended VJ mode that rotates scenes, rides macros, shifts color mood, and changes shots on its own, with adjustable pace and constraints • NDI — send your output to (or receive from) other devices over the local network, blending two physical cameras into one scene Built-in Lessons walk through the node-graph mechanics step by step, a Guide covers the bigger concepts, and every module has its own "i" info button — so you're never guessing what something does. Made for background visuals in reels, live projection at shows, VJing, or just exploring generative art. Runs entirely on-device — no account, no internet connection required, no subscription. Note: some optional effects (Strobe, Old Film Flicker, VHS) flash or flicker rapidly. If you're sensitive to flashing lights, use these with caution.
