Scanner needs to be fixed

I have been trading in BSA for a few years now and have been using the scanner ever sence I had been told about it during a jamboree . I was hoping this app would make it faster and add the availablity logging my patches. Sadly, the scanner didn't recognize any of the patches QR codes as QR codes like the site does. I hope this can be fixed soon.

Camera

The camera doesn’t want to find the QR code and then is pointless, the website is good though.

.

Good idea though app doesn’t scan codes anymore and doesn’t have a search bar like the browser version does

Great idea, but……..

Great idea and I used at first but it is no longer working. It needs some mayor updates.

Please fix the app Camera does not recognize QR codes and there’s no way to manually add a patch.

We love this app and as a member of scouting for many years and a leader and scouts. I would really like to see this work. The app does not recognize QR codes.

FAQ

What does PatchScan do?

PatchScan allows users to scan officially licensed Boy Scouts of America patches that have a special PatchScan code on the back. Upon scanning, the app provides important information such as how many of each patch were issued, which organization issued them, and manufacturing details. It also offers a scan of a patch from the same production run for authenticity verification.

How can I verify if my patch is authentic with PatchScan?

PatchScan helps verify patch authenticity by providing access to details from the same production run. When you scan a patch with a PatchScan code, you can view a scan of another patch from that specific production run. This allows you to compare and confirm that the patch in your hand is legitimate and part of the official release.

Is PatchScan free to use?
