Worst app ever
The app is so bad it makes it extremely difficult to follow your favorite creators and at times ruins the experience. For as big as Patreon is the app is very buggy and hard to use
DO NOT BUY A SUBSCRIPTION ON AN APPLE ID LINKED ACCOUNT!!!
I am unable to log in to my account AT ALL using my Apple ID after deleting the Patreon app. This is a known issue that has been happening for years with the Patreon app THAT HASNT BEEN FIXED. If you hide your Apple ID/email, you will be completely screwed and have to reach out to Patreon. I just wanted to cancel a subscription. Good to know I’ll be cancelling that AND never using Patreon again.

Efficient App!
Nice and efficient though could really use a loop button!
Very cool
Starting to use this app has been a great experience. I can do so much editing on the go, smoothly and easily. One thing I noticed today, some of the descriptions wrap text so I cannot see the rest of the sentence. I recently updated, same bug. It's fine in a browser on my mac. Other than that: flawless 😎

Patreon offers a wide variety of listening options. My fanatical sports world collides with my true crime obsession and everything in between. The Patreon app is also easy to navigate!
Get back in your lane
Patreon you are not a social media app, stop trying to be one. I don’t appreciate opening the app and being accosted by things I don’t want to see. Especially things I’ve actively not subscribed to so I DO NOT see. If you must have this stupid new tab that nobody asked for or wanted don’t make it the one the app opens to.

Terrible customer service
Patreon support has been giving me the run around for 7 months. They don’t care about their customers and only reply with generic chatgpt text. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
Screen won’t stay on
I really wish this app would stay open and awake when I’m watching videos. There’s no reason my phone should start to dim and go to sleep when a video is playing. Both in full screen and mini player. It’s a good app but this bug is a bit annoying.
To be an app you have to PAY FOR you would think it wouldn’t GLITCH
All this app ever does is randomly stop the video or completely start playing the beginning of the video over top of the end of it ?? It actually is the worst app ever
horrible buggy app
extremely laggy video player which barely ever loads properly (it’s not my wifi i have 400mbps) and never works when i want to resume a video where i left off

aggressive battery usage
it is insane how much battery this app uses. i’ve had to reinstall the app several times which solves it temporarily but the issue crops up repeatedly. more than half my battery life gone in 2 hours

My 1 and only app review
I love are you garbage and will always support them but this is genuinely one of the worst media apps ive ever used, it never properly loads, constantly bugs out and half the time it doesn’t even save my spot in videos.
Great app
Better at listening to podcasts than the podcast app and better at videos than YouTube. Kinda shocked at how surprisingly capable the app is.
AirPlay doesn't work
Just so you know, your buggy trash app literally doesn't work. AirPlay does not work at all when I try to AirPlay through my Apple TV. It literally just doesn't work. There's a little red error thing near the play bar and nothing ever plays please fire your overpaid engineers.
Always pushing me away from what I want
It’s basically a good app but they’re constantly pushing other creators in front of me when I don’t want the distraction.
I’m following one creator, no other interests but Patreon keeps stuffing my stream with junk Im not interested in - it’s incredibly annoying and no way to tune out the noise.

Great for creators, not so great for regular users/fans
The entire focus of this platform is for creators. Because regular users/fans need to use the site in order to get the special supported content, at least some investment needs to be made in their experience. Site support should spend some quality time on a robust podcast platform to get ideas on at least minimum improvements for the user experience.
Here are some suggestions:
Make it easy to see what has been watched versus not.
Enable filtering so content already seen doesn’t show again.
Add queuing capability
