Can’t cancel memberships
I’ve been trying for weeks to cancel my subscription, after following prompts I don’t have the option to cancel

The support people for Patreon apparently don’t give a F for their customers, you ask them a question and they respond by repeating what I said to them and then said too bad. The creators on Patreon are fine but the employees couldn’t care less about your problems.

Privacy abuse
This app steals data and info from browsing not connected in any way to the sites you use the app for. It provides no means for people subscribed to Patreon accounts to stop this practice. When you select the privacy “Take Control” button you are subjected to a long winded discussion about nothing. When you finally get to the end, you are told your only option is to delete your account. The creator is scum and should be investigated by the FTC.

Downloads are a lie
If you lose cellular while watching content, the app will never buffer unless you force reboot. This happens even with downloaded content unless you put your phone on airplane mode. I reached out to support with videos but did not fix it.

I love this app except one thing… the lack of options for organizing needs improvement.
Great App but No Longer Functional
I have been a Patreon user for many years now but since the latest update, I have not been able to save pictures from quips to my iPhone. I love doing so since I can share with my colleagues to bring some good vibes to their day. But now I have to go to the Patreon website to do so. Thus I don’t know if it’s a creator thing or what but I would like to have the ability to download images again like I did before the latest update. Like the old saying goes, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”.

Never remembers where you were
Everytime you reopen the app you have to go find where you were in something. It’s so frustrating.

Love and support the premise, wish the functionality was better
I’ll always prefer to support my favorite creators and artists directly, and I appreciate Patreon for providing a platform for people to do that. I can’t help but wish the app felt better to use in some areas though.
Oftentimes videos won’t load, and I have to watch them with ads in Youtube despite already subscribing to the creators on Patreon. Videos and podcasts never play in the background either, forcing me to stay in app if I want to have something playing.
I’ll continue to use the app while it remains the best option, but I hope to see some of these things become more streamlined for users in the future

Confusing and frustrating.
This app populates creators I don’t subscribe to. This makes it frustrating to find the ones I pay for and want to listen to. Whats up with that?
App could be better
I can’t go horizontal on the app. The home page “suggests” stories that I don’t subscribe to and somehow the website is worse. Would prefer if I could make the memberships page the default instead of the home page. Just want to click on the app and see the newest updates on top.
User Friendly
Not a fan of the view. It’s not organized enough. Theres not enough filters such as unplayed and played. It’s just confusing.
