CarPlay Support

I would absolutely give it 5 stars, but I wish it had better support for Apple CarPlay. I mean it works, but the map shows up very small on the screen while the letters are humongous. It would be great to make it more proportionate or just develop a more user-friendly interface that will display easily on CarPlay

Response from developer

Thanks so much for the kind words and the detailed feedback! PatrolNav actually has a setting to adjust text size on CarPlay already, if you haven't tried it yet, that might help right away. We're also rolling out more CarPlay UI sizing controls in our next update, since infotainment systems vary a lot in screen proportions. Feel free to reach out anytime with questions or feature requests at patrolnav.com@gmail.com.

Dumb

To expensive compare to things you can get for free, just use Google Maps and have a set point to drive to without going there, it will show you all streets and intersections.

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback. We understand why PatrolNav might seem similar to Google Maps at first glance, but it was built specifically for law enforcement and serves a different purpose. PatrolNav keeps information officers need constantly visible, including upcoming intersections, current address block, highway mile markers, and it works offline. Navigation is also intentionally traffic-unaware, since emergency responses with lights and sirens often don't follow normal traffic routing. CAD integration is planned for a future update. We also offer discounted Squad plans for agencies and teams, as well as annual subscriptions for additional savings. If you're a first responder and have any questions or feature requests, we'd love to hear from you at patrolnav.com@gmail.com.

Work app

Definitely comes in clutch for pursuits great app overall. Very accurate for the most part and I love that it includes block numbers

Amazing Tool for Patrol officers

Absolutely amazing. Makes nav and radio call outs 10x easier. Great Developer who interacts with his customers

Excellent for directions

I’ve been using the app for a couple weeks now, and have had nothing but good things to say about it. The developer has been nothing but helpful with questions about the app, and takes all suggestions seriously and updates the app frequently.
